I was talking to a guy for a few weeks that seemed to be good news. Everything was going well and we had our second date over a week ago. He attempted to kiss me and I didn’t want to kiss him back. Before you all call me a bitch, yes, I still continued to talk to him at the time even though I had a feeling there were underlying issues with my sex drive. I feel as if I’m “asexual”. I was attracted to him. I see men all the time that are attractive. But I cannot bring myself to be intimate with one. This presented an issue in my last short term relationship and a guy I spoke to a few years back.

I had the guy I was speaking to most recently spend a decent amount of money on our date. It was at a location with several tourist attractions. He attempted to make a move at the first one and then we left after. He seemed angry that I let him go forward in having him pay for us to complete all these events if I knew there was a lack of connection to begin with. I told him that instead of the fact that I just have intimacy issues. It really wasn’t him that was the issue. I feel it is me and I told him that too.

I apologized a few days ago over Snapchat and he accepted it. Not upset or anything. However, I told him that I liked talking to him before everything happened and we should continue being friends. However, he mentioned he would rather not speak to me because we are not on the same page of what we want. I mean yes, romantically it wouldn’t work out but you don’t even want to consider friendship? Lol okayyy

We have been friends since 2016, and we are really close. We speak every single day and I mean. Every. Single. Day. I wake up every morning to a 'Good Morning' Text; and recently he has started to come over to mine for some food, which 9 times out of 10 isn't planned. We go to places to get some food and chill out. He has stayed on the phone with me when I've been upset, even though it would get him into trouble and stayed out with me even though he would get in trouble.

We speak about anything and everything. Our conversations make me completely belly laugh and I know he does the same. (even when my jokes are S**t) We have had conversations about families and relationships, future aspirations and careers, moving away and marriage. He has even seen baby pictures of me.
He has complimented me before on what I was wearing and called me things like 'Miss Independent'. He has brought me food and offered to help me out if I’m ever in a financial crisis and help me when I move. He always mentions me in his future plans. He always remembers the things I did the first few months after we met.
He has met my Mom and siblings (Which he knows is a very big deal) and I have spoken with his Mom and to some extent, he has opened up to me. He has told me stuff like his fears and his goals for the next 5 years. His family seems to think that we are dating. Which is questionable to why they think that. i mean we get mistaken for a couple when we go to a restaurant.

However, he has known that I have liked him previously (which he said he didn't want to ruin our friendship) (this was like 2 years ago) and I'm trying so hard right now to play it cool.

What do you guys think? Does it sound like he is attracted to me or nahh? Help!!!
