On average they always pretend to like the kids from their partners previous marriage but then when they have kids with the husband or wife, they always place their kids over the other ones and treat them better. I notice this more with step moms than step dads. Step moms are the worst.

Step moms have always had a history of being evil bitches, it's based on a lot of truth.
Step dads are usually a lot nicer and more loving.

I would hope in the future if I ever get married and divorce, that my ex wouldn't remarry because 9/10 the new wife would most likely disregard my children, and if anything were to happen to me, I know for a fact that the new woman wouldn't look out for my kids.
