What gave you the upper hand were the Age of Exploration and the geographical discoveries. Before that, Turks dominated much of Eurasia. Extremely brave yet barbaric pirates discovered the American continent; the natives were devastated by diseases, and the survivors were forced to work under brutal conditions until they died. Then you turned your eyes toward Africa, exploited its underground resources, and imported countless slaves. India was not enough — you even brought the mighty Chinese Empire to its knees. In the lands you conquered, you gave places names like New Zealand, New York, New Hampshire, and New Jersey, as if the whole world revolved around England.

At the same time, you built the Enlightenment, positive science, and so-called universal values. You carried out the Industrial Revolution; production and technology revolved around you. The birth of capitalism was your creation, and modernization came to be seen as synonymous with Westernization. Your ideologies ending in “-ism” shape the lives of people all around the world, and I am writing this damned text in your language.

But in a dynamic world, the sun is no longer moving from east to west across the Atlantic — it is shifting toward the Pacific, and the Chinese are beginning to take your place.

Anyway, back to the point: yes, are you proud of it?

I am 31 years old and collect Social Security Disability. I have held 25 jobs in a span of 15 years, and by age 30 I called it quits looking for conventional work and now I collect disability benefits and receive Medicare.

In the meantime, I enjoy gardening with occasional web development projects that help produce a little additional income.

In addition, I have been fighting for our fire and emergency services here in my state as these vital services are struggling to remain afloat. I was very instrumental in the passage of SB1900/HB2428 which makes assault on firefighters and EMS personnel a minimum of a Class E Felony. We were only one of few states where it wasn't a felony offense to assault a first responder other than a law enforcement officer. I brought attention to the issue, appeared on the news, and communicated with lawmakers. As it stands today, it has been transmitted to the governor for his signature!

The way I see it there should be term limits. And additionally as long as there is a deficit, congress should be barred from giving them selves raises.

There is no excuse for senators and representatives to have been in their job for 40 to 50+ years. Our politicians should be changed like you'd change your underwear, often and for the same reason.

I also believe there should be age limits for all positions, of no older than 50.

I mean if I "aspire" lol to a girlfriend or a wife who's in her mid 20s or so (I'm 32 for comparison) and she's like 26, I mean isn't that a healthy age gap? For a lasting relationship chuckle 🤭🤭😜
