At what ages is it appropriate or acceptable to wear a thong?

I don't personally think kids should wear them as I find them sexual by nature. And thongs are primarily worn for skin tight clothing like silk dresses or leggings, which I don't think should ever have become a thing, but I realize I'm an extremist with that view.

But wear whatever you want. Not my kids, not my body, not my life. As long as it's not affecting me like the trans (men who dress as women) who wear stuff that shows more than I wanna see, it's whatever.

I started wearing them at 19. Not my fav underwear, but they make me feel sexy. So I'd say probably around 18. I'm sure many girls wear them younger, and its probably not the worst thing ever, but for my daughter I'd want her to wait till she's 18 before she starts to sexualize herself

If you mean thong as in underwear, I don't see an age where it would be inappropriate.

If you mean thong as in a thong bikini bottom, that really depends on how comfortable you are wearing it at the beach.

I assume you're talking about beachwear. Which is the only place where I would see thongs, in full. And I don't remember seeing thongs on anyone else than adults so... I can't really relate to the topic

I started wearing thongs shortly after I learned how to walk but eventually stopped in my teens because I couldn't find any to fit, anymore and they kept cutting the skin between my big toe and "index" toe.
