Ok so one could say he is my guyfriend. We share common hobbies and have hung out in group settings a couple of times. I guess it is kind of obvious that I have a crush on him, at least according to some people that noticed us. I have known him for about 2 years, but only started interacting about 8 months ago.

We started to talk much more recently, including on Instagram. He follows a couple of his friends and me on Instagram, but only a few people as he recently made the account. I recently posted some cute pictures of myself from when I went out with my friends, and he liked the post and commented something nice on it. He has never commented on his friend's posts, and only liked them. Is this a good sign that he is feeling attracted to me?

I asked him if I made him uncomfortable and if he wanted to stop teaching me guitar that’s absolutely fine but he just said “no, it’s all fine, don’t worry dude” even though I think there’s several signs that show he’s probably not comfortable or he can tell that I’m really attracted to him. Why would a guy just brush things off and not address them? He also said the other day that he got divorced and also said that he “doesn’t teach people that he doesn’t have time for — money isn’t the main thing anymore, some people are just too emotionally draining” why would he say this to me? I don’t know whether there’s mutual attraction or whether I just make him uncomfortable? But I’ve cancelled my next lesson with him because I need to sort my head out.
it’s just odd how he’s friendly and open… but things can be so awkward and weird at the same time.

During some conversations he starts fidgeting or rubbing his arms nervously… but only sometimes. And a few months ago he saw me in person and got very nervous and started shaking. Other than that… the only other sign of attraction I’ve noticed is that he mirrors me quite a bit… picking up his coffee cup to take a sip when I do it…. Not sure if he’s naturally an awkward man or whether he’s attracted? But in groups of people he doesn’t seem awkward and looks more relaxed… so maybe I have an effect on him? But he also hasn’t made a move on me. Maybe he feels awkward because someone told him I like him? I dunno. Also another thing to note is that I’m more conventionally attractive than he is, so maybe he’s intimidated? I’m not sure. Also his face looks a bit red around me sometimes but I can’t tell whether he’s flushed for another reason or it’s just lighting etc.
