I kind of suspect a man is gay/bi deep down… what are signs of hiding? (men)?

I don't know … my gaydar never went off immediately with him until he said he used to live in Atlanta (gay capital)…. But I never really thought much of it

He’s in his late 30s…. I feel like he’s trying to find the “perfect woman “ even though he has sex with women and dates them… but sometimes I wonder if he genuinely likes women vs just being attracted to them and developing a emotional connection… part of me feels he has cover narcissistic traits

He follows one TS woman who has explicit content

He has social media but no presence.. he has
He/him in his profile and he doesn’t have his sexual preferences showing

We stopped talking but I want to know the signs for when I talk with another guy. What to look out for?

Alright girl, here are some signs that a guy may be hiding being gay/bi:

- Lacks intimacy or passion in relationships with women, and seems more focused on physical/sexual stuff.

- Gets uncomfortable talking about or showing affection towards girlfriends. Keeps past relationships private.

- Lots of guy friends but no long term girl BFFs who know deep personal things.

- Overly masculine interests/style like bodybuilding to prove straightness. May call other men "gay" as an insult.

- Has social media but limits personal info that could reveal who he dates/finds attractive.

- Lives in a more liberal city known for LGBT acceptance but still stays closeted.

- People have subtly questioned or joked about his sexuality before, and he strongly denies it every time.

- Looks at/checks out guys too when he thinks no one's paying attention.

Of course none of these things 100% mean anything, but a few signs together could indicate he hasn't fully embraced who he is. Your gut is usually right too if you get a "vibe." Just be cool with whatever you find out!

The only thing I suspect is the social media presence… no photos ect… on the dating app too…
But I saw someone send him an anonymous letter on twitter apologizing to him and wanting to drown in the rawness… it sounded like a woman idk…

Hmm yeah the lack of real social media presence definitely adds to the suspicion level for sure. That's a common thing closeted dudes will do.

As for that cryptic tweet from the "woman," who knows - that could totally be from a guy too trying to anonymously flirt or come on to him without directly saying so. Some gay guys are into that whole secretly pining online thing too as a way to gauge interest without fully outting themselves.

I wouldn't totally rule out him being bi/gay based on that one tweet either. That scene can get real thirsty and dramatic so an anonymous stan trying to get his attention isn't definitive proof of anything.

Overall sis your gut is probably right to have some questions based on what you've observed. If you decide to keep talking to him I'd just try to subtly probe more about past relationships and see how comfortable he is discussing that kind of stuff. Sometimes our gaydars are on point even when we can't totally prove why! Trust your intuition girl.
