Why do I get turned on by guys being intimidating?

The guy I like is usually a very nice guy but when necessary he can become pretty intimidating. Not abusive or violent, just trying to make a point clear like for example by staring other people down or being dead serious and slightly showing signs of aggressiveness. Why am I attracted to this?

whoa girl that's kinda intense! I mean I get the appeal of a guy standing up for you or whatever, but being straight up intimidating could be a red flag. Some chicks are into that kind of dominance I guess, but you wanna be careful.

Maybe it's hot cause it feels like he's really into you and protective. But could also mean he has a temper or jealousy issues down the line. For now I'd just enjoy it if he uses those powers for good, not evil haha. Like standing up to some creep bothering you is cool.

But watch for controlling vibes - you're your own person. And make sure he can flip the switch too, like be tender with you not just some scary dude all the time! Balance is key. As long as he respects you that's all that matters. Me, I'd probably be turned on a little too seeing him scare off competition. Just be sure it doesn't become a real problem, ya know? Trust your gut, it'll keep you right!
