Search Results: Do you think I am doing the right thing or I am

I was dating for the past 3 months but I let him go today without telling him I loved him. We started off great and decided to get in a relationship but ever since that I feel like things were only good when we would be together. We would enjoy our dates and all but the moment I’d go home, I would feel like he wouldn’t be there for me. Like I couldn’t just call him and vent or rely on him cause he didn’t make himself accessible to me or made me feel like he genuinely cared about me.

I did tell him how important it is for me to communicate and talk to the person I’m with and that I really like attention. He said we will work on this and see how it goes etc etc. But then I didn’t see any efforts form his side. I kind of did try but I just backed off cause I matched his energy and everything died down.

So the last time we met, we hugged really tightly and that’s when I realized that I might be in love with him. Anyway, I did try to break the barrier and the distance between us but i didn’t feel like he was doing anything to make me feel I am special or that I am his girlfriend. So I talked to him and he told me he feels disconnected too and we decided to let this go.

I don't know if I made the right choice. Do you think I should have told him I loved him? Cause I feel like I just decided not to settle for less. Sigh!
