#1 He and i had an argument yesterday because he’s all about keeping money in the bank, and I, like my grandpa am not. I honestly don’t trust the bank and would only leave a bit in there. I’ve never been a credit/debit card user and prefer to use cash only. However, he’s trying to “control” my future money by saying i HAVE to keep it in the bank. No hunny, I dont HAVE to do anything. He even said he’s forcing our kids to keep all their money in the bank.

#2 I feel that there should be a joint account and an individual account. He said that as a married couple EVERYTHING should be shared. Yet, we don’t respect eachother’s personal purchases sometimes. I’d be pissed if he spent a great amount of our “joint” personal purchases savings on a game console and he’d be pissed if i even spent even half of that on an outfit. I told him that half of our money should go to joint and half to individual, and if not half, then at least a quarter of our separate earnings to each indivual account. First, he got mad and said that there's no need for individual accounts. But I mean he’s getting a bit crazier everyday and i need my backup money in case I literally have to leave this dude. Secondly, he got pissed because my individual half would be kept outside of the bank. He’s trying to force me to keep every penny in the bank. I don't know when he became so controlling in terms of MY money. Honestly, I think I’m going to have to keep a secret stash. I know its not the best way to build trust in a marriage but he's being controlling right now

Okay, I grew up in a Catholic School for close to nine years. I went to church pretty often. However, in my late teens, I stopped believing in God. As an individual that has dealt with anxiety and a bit of depression most of her life, I used God as a crutch. Let’s say, a coping mechanism for when life felt rocky. I was tired of people thanking God for when things went right. So, when they went wrong, that “couldn’t” have been God right? Are you sure life boils down to being a bit messy at times and it’s a gamble? It’s a matter of the cards that we are dealt with at the time?

My point is: I believe in statistics and evidence of things working for someone. My anxiety did not become treated with prayer. I sought out assistance from a doctor to find the right prescription. And I still deal with it. Although , it’s A LOT better. Research has proven the efficacy of these medicines.

Where is the proof of a God?
