Basically, like is someone hot more likely to get better service , attention , help even?

Apparently many studies show this, whether you believe hot people are treated better.
Taller men (tall men are generally seen as more attractive) usually are paid more.
Thinner women (slim women are generally seen more attractive) are on average paid more.
And yes both of those take skills, education, etc into account.
Teachers give attractive students more help and attention, and even better grades!
Women with larger breasts are given more tips (well, duh, I don't know why a study is needed for this).
Etc. Etc. Etc.

Personally, I do think there is a bias for attractive people. You dont really need studies to show you when you see men holding doors open for you when you are dressed up, but then let it slam in your face when you look like a mess (yes, this has happened to me! lol it was even the same guy!) You can tell when teachers ignore you and favor other children. I'm sure many guys can tell when if you are to ask a girl out in an outlandish way you're considered the creep, but if a hot guy did it, he's soooo sweet and romantic.
We all favor attractive people, and we all maybe subconsciously treat them better, whether we want to or not. So before you go hating on the people who treat attractive people better and sure that may mean that we won't be favored in many situations, but remember that we're only human, we're predisposed to see beauty=health.

So I haven't seen my dad in 4 years or so. My mom cheated on him and he got with another woman shortly after and has been with her since. My family don't like her cause they feel she's holding him back from seeing us. She's extremely insecure and doesn't want him hanging out with us or around my mom cause she feels like my mom will try and take him away from her. My dad lives in another city a couple hours away from us. Whenever my mom brings up how he needs to come see us he says that we should see him and that we aren't babies anymore. I don't like my dad's girlfriend cause when I was staying w/ them for a few days she told me to change into jeans cause there were guys in the house and that they might look at me in a wrong way and I didn't want too and my dad agreed with her and didn't stand up for me at all. It lead to an argument and me upset so I left to my other aunt's house which I stood there for 3 years. Apparently she's religious and my dad became super religious by talking about God all the time. I believe in God by he talks about it so much that it's kinda annoying. So today he randomly called me out of the blue then I got into a deep convo w/ him he was saying how he'll always have his home open to me and that I'll never be alone. I told him how everyone always chooses everyone over me and that family should come first then he went on about how not to worry and that God has everything in his hands. He then told me that GOD comes first in his life, his wife, then his children and that made me upset and I hung up on him and then like 2 hours later I lied and said my laptop died. Am I overreacting or do I got a right to hang up on him for saying this? by the way my dad never acted this religious. He'd smoke weed was addicted to pain killers and listened to rap music all the time. He said his life has changed for the better and he stopped doing all these things an that he's a completely changed man.

My spouse (white male, 36) says he's gonna throw up when he sees interracial sex on TV. iworry about how its going to effect our son. He's Disgusted by male/male sex/relationships and says disrespectful racist/homophobic things about people, though not to people. He claims to be Christian but I don't see how that is being Christian. He thinks the bible says to stick with your own kind and it does teach tbat homosexuality is wrong. But it doesn't say people tgat do those things deserve less respect. How can I get him to admit he is racist. He says I have black friends etc so im not racist. but refuses to be anywhere near homosexual men, lesbians disgust him but not in the same way. How can I handle this It has almost broken us up many times. He doesn't see how he is doing anything wrong.(Hes never wrong) even if I prove he is, he refuses to listen or admit it. He will not consider other new views or doresearch on something that he 'already knows". it has very much begun to seriously negatively affect our relationship. I understand if he just disagrees for personal preference or (homosexuality) because of religious views, but that is no reason to treat someone less than or be rude to or jump to conclusions/generalize. I. e"all refugees, Muslims, Jews are murderers, rapists want to ruin the country are bad people etc. How can he say that! I'm so sick of having to argue over things that I believe are obvious and he is SO ignorant but refuses to learn, study open himself up. What is the vest way to handle something like this!!! I don't want to hear " break up."ijust want advice on ways to convince him he's wrong, how to handle the arguments and how to encourage him to learn and be more open minded less judgmental and racist. and is it racist to think that people of different raves shouldn't be together? or to think it is wrong or disgusting? thoughts? He grew up in a very racist town with a bunch ofcrazy wild white supremecist skinheads for friends (for background)?
