I meant it in a way when you’re mature and your standards are not super high when you want to find a good partner. I realised my standards of men were way too high when I was 18, since 13 years old I wanted to be the first wife of a very rich man so when he wants to divorce me I can have half of his assets. In college I was very disappointed with myself for wanting to marry a rich man when me myself wasn’t a wealthy heiress in the first place. I started to treasure good man way more when I was 20 years old after I was used by my evil ex boyfriend for sex. I noticed guys older than 28 are more ready to get a partner and get married. I’m 24 this year and I’m still a little too young to get married as they stated the youngest age to get married is 25 years and above. They also claimed 25 year olds are way more mature and more willing to take responsibilities.

My co-worker's grandparents are in their early 70's. When they met they were respectively 18 and 19 years old; got married in their early 20's and have 4 children and 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

The old man is happy with his wife even though her beauty & youth has already long faded and both have wrinkles, along with grey hair. To him, she's still his gem. One of our fears is getting dumped or replaced for a younger woman. Once her beauty faded and she already gave you kids is a man like that rare?

How would you feel if society is a vain world that (esp men) tells you ''You're only useful for beauty and youth, nothing else''? Those aren't skills and it tells me nothing about what you really like about me as a person or if you'll have kids with me and stay with me till old age.

They keep selling magazine about fashion models, old guys only with girls in their 20-30's, stories about men that divorced after 20 years of marriage just to replace their wives with a much younger woman, etc. So basically a wife would have to find a magic formula to stay young forever or delay the aging process. He's asking for something impossible. Meanwhile making more money and being successful is a possible goal (an actual skill), staying youthful forever is impossible.

Then several guys keep on wondering why do we get offended if they ask about our weight and only physical aspects questions or why do we focus too much on that. Because you're the ones saying that's the only thing we're useful for.
