I don't want to hear about how it's sexist. men are suppose to be the example setters. If a girl/woman is cold, she gets the jacket, not the boy/man. If there's 1 available chair/seat/bed, etc left, she gets it, not him. The 1 exception to a boy going first is maybe if it's his birthday but even if the dad still had the girls go first but he is first among the boys, I would be okay with that.

I am fed up with people at various forums saying girls ain't any more special than boys or boys and girls are equal, etc. This is simple 101 etiquette for mankind. It is being respectful. It is not about who is more special. Boys and girls have different roles and should be shown so.

Males and female have different roles and standards of how to show courtesy and whoever does these things is showing simple gratitude for the sex they were destined to be. You get men here who rage and say I should be first. She isn't any better than me. Get over yourself. I'm instilling this into my sons that their sisters get first pick at candy and movie ticket line rather people think it's sexist or not. There's no excuse that men can't teach this to their sons.
