Search Results: men think all women are hot

Let me explain, say a man is unattractive or average and has a steady job but the norms of society deem him unattractive placing that and average in the same category as ugly for men and women can get away with being all three and laugh at him and call him a loser while he gets name called and perhaps f'ed with from good looking alpha males. It seems as the longer society goes like this the more the Jordan belfort approach is more acceptable for unattractive and average men to even be able to date a woman. Or in other cases if the guy is unattractive or average he has to wait till the woman goes through the phases of high school, hot guy, mistake, single mother, another hot guy, mistake, 24 year old single mother of two, and so on till lessons learned, 40 year old single mother with two or three kids. Should unattractive men wait for single mothers since that's all they can get or just go celibate their entire lives (for some people that needs sex really bad to the point they really need to experience it with no strings attached there's always hookers).

(In before "it's your attitude, you sound bitter, no woman wants a whiny little bitch who's mad he's ugly and can't get a girlfriend or he got friendzoned for being ugly", "you need confidence, it's not about what you look like" and "change your wardrobe, go to the gym and get big, get some status, and make yourself look attractive" (even though you can't change your looks)

This is something that bothers me. I'm watching this show Lucifer (fun show btw-does a good job of making fun of itself) and I read a review by the New York Times claiming the show is sexist because one of the main female characters is a stereotype (because she was in an adult film) and female characters are shown having sex with men. That's what the review says anyways.
I get how someone could see it that way- could think she's a stereotype. But here's the thing- Lucifer is hardly a flattering portrayal of a man. He's good looking and has charm, but he's also a complete sociopath that wants to have sex with anything he sees, not to mention highly immature. In short, he's the stereotypical man.
Why is it OK and tolerated to have a stereotypical man in a show, but not a stereotypical woman. Dramas and comedies are so overdone anyways- the characters are always more extreme then real people are.
So many movies have a hot female lead who depends on the guy but also has emotional intelligence and smarts, and a really stupid beefcake who can fight but can't do much else and doesn't understand emotions. I don't hear guys complaining about being stereotyped.
There are equality issues in society. That can't be argued. But looking for sexism in TV shows and having these double standards doesn't progress women's rights. I'm all for women having equal rights, but this is just getting ridiculous.
I'm sure I'll be seen as the devil by some people just for writing this comment. That, and because my picture shows a smiling apple being cut with a knife.

POLL: Is the double standard absurd?

The title says it all. So I found this when surfing on Google, and thought, "It's just so true!" Women may have it harder in some parts. Like with having their periods, and being oversexualized, and stuff like that. But men definitely have it harder when it comes to looking good.

Me and every guy ik agrees with this. I've seen by far more good looking girls in my 12 grade class then guys. And I'm bi. For girls to have what's considered "hot", they already have it with their curves, boobs, and ass. All they gotta do is have good hygiene and not eat like a pig. And for the few ugly girls I saw, if only they didn't eat so much and were cleaner they'd look decent. Now for guys to have what's considered "hot", with a muscular fit body, they have to kill themselves at the gym for years, many and many times a week. And they gotta make sure they eat very little fats and sugars so that the man boobs don't come back. And yeah, that's how I see it as. Do you think it's true from your experience? I'm expecting all the guys to say "yes" and all the girls to say "no". Just my predictions.
