My boyfriend really doesn't do much cleaning around the house. The most he has done is taking out the garbage (3 times a week) and once in a blue moon he would vacuum. He would vacuum if I asked him to. He would procrastinate untill late minute to do it. He maybe cooks once a year and do dishes 4 times a year. I rather him not cook because he causes a mess in the kitchen and doesn't clean it after. He also cooks really unhealthy with no vegetables at all. He calls himself a meatarian and he has stomach issues for years. The doctor strongly told him to eat healthier and he doesn't listen. All the 4 times I have asked him to do dishes, I have to asked him to do it and remind him couple times. If I don't remind him, he will not do it. We use a dishwasher and if there is 1 item that is not exactly clean, he rewash the whole load. Why? Because he is too lazy to unload the dishes and he now has a good excuse not to clear the sink full of dirty dishes. He also now don't have to unload the clean ones because of 1 dirty item. If I ask him to hand wash that one dirty plate, he would make excuses saying that there is no clean sponge. So usually, I just end up doing it because I can get it done in 5 minutes myself rather than wasting 30 minutes of my life listening to his poor excuses.

He also lacks basic hygiene. He showers once in 4 days-5 days. His feet sometimes smells like dead fish and it can stink up the entire room. He brushes his teeth once a week. Yup, disgusting. Of course, his excuse is, i use the mouthwash if I have to. He doesn't wash his hands when he needs to for example, touching things that are full of bacteria/germs (urine/fecal matter). If i asked him to wash his hands he gets VERY annoyed as if his hands are clean!

So for the past 4 years I've known what I wanted to do going into the workforce. I'm now in school for that certain thing... and I fucking hate it.

It makes really good money but I can't stand what I do and the type of people it attracts. Like seriously I feel like I'm wasting my life away, conforming to the machine.

Does anyone else feel this way about their carrier path?
