In my biblical opinion, the issue with Racism is SIN. Jealousy, envy, unforgiveness, pride, hatred, etc. all play a role in racism. In spite of our past, we make choices over our decisions. Sin is knowing something is wrong but still doing it. "Therefore to him, that knows to do good, and does it not, to him it is SIN" ( James 4:17 KJV). When it comes to SIN, we are all guilty. "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." (1 John 1:8 KJV). We have spoken at least one thing bad about someone before, texted and drove, lied to our parents, teachers, friends, siblings, spouse, etc. I can speak on most familiar sins but I think we all get the point. All it takes is ONE sin to be guilty. "For whosoever breaks one commandment is guilty of breaking them all" (James 2:10 GNT).

Here is the good news; God knew we could not ever keep the commandments. So He sent his Son, Jesus, who was crucified, died on a tree (cross) to die for all sinners. This world will only get worse because we have been warned by God of the end times. We need love in our hearts, mental and physical healing. I invite you to come to Christ. You do not need drugs or alcohol to cope throughout the day. If you call upon the Son of God, Jesus, he will save you and set you free from SIN. (1John 1:9 KJV) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness". (Romans 6:23 KJV) " For the wages (reward) of SIN is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord". Notice how it says, through Jesus Christ. We cannot be saved any other way. If you really believe, He will save you but to believe is to accept the gospel as truth. "That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved" (Romans 10:9 KJV). Texas Republican who promoted mask burning dies of COVID-19

On Aug. 4, the Galveston County Republican Party of Texas posted a sad tribute to H. Scott Apley, a Texas Republican Executive Committeeman who passed away after an acute case of COVID-19. “It is with an extremely heavy heart that we share the news of the death of H. Scott Apley, our friend, our Patriot in Arms, our State Republican Executive Committeeman, Precinct Chair, Dickinson City Council Member. A tragedy. Please pray for Melissa and Reid and their family. God remains in control although this is yet another tough one to swallow.”

Less than one week before this announcement, Apley himself posted an image of an anti-vaccination sentiment on his Facebook feed, mocking people for worrying about COVID-19. Back when smoking was allowed in public buildings, and even hospitals and elevators, the thought was that denying smokers their God-given right to blow smoke in other people's faces, just went against the smokers individual freedoms. Is it wrong to deny a smoker his freedom to share his carcinogens with others? Should smoking at private parties be bannded? Should parents be allowed to smoke with children in the home or car?
