I'm asking the people here what their ideal height range is for a man and/or woman they'd want to be with. Also, I'd like to hear any explanations they have for preferring that height in their partner. She's 5'10 and a half, while I'm only 5'6. For me, one of her selling points was her tallness. The fact that she's not short, petite, and delicate is a big turn-on for me. No pun intended. Now for me personally, my ideal height in a woman is 5'9 to 6'4. Basically, 3 to 10 inches taller than me, and yes, I understand how rare that is. To me, tallness is an indicator of physical strength, which I find extremely attractive. Even if a tall person doesn't work out that much, they're very likely gonna be stronger and heavier than a shorter person with the same body as them, simply because they have more mass. So to me, a tall woman is WAY stronger and tougher than a short one. Xena Warrior Princess. Xena is 5'10, Gabrielle is 5'3.Some guys might like tall girls because they look like models or because they have long legs. But for me, it's all about how strong and potentially athletic they are. Like, those long legs are cool and all, but I'd be more impressed by how hard those long legs can kick. I'm looking for an Amazon, not a model. And since my friend's 5'10 sister finds me attractive like I do her, I might just get an Amazon. What is your ideal height in a man/woman, and why?
I'm short (and loathe it, to be honest), but my ideal height range is for a woman is between 5'10" and 6'6" (177-198 cm), with 6'3.5" (191 cm) being ideal. My late ex partner was that height, so... Yeah, that's ideal on a woman, for me.
And I would want a tall woman regardless of my own height. Although 6'3.5" is my ideal height on a woman, MY ideal height would be between 6'5" and 7'0" (195-213 cm). I loathe being as small and weak as I am. I legit despise it and words cannot express how much I hate it. If my height were another person, I would stab it to death with a knife... Every single day. ... I'm not even going to get into how many dreams I had to give up being a f*ckin' 180 cm girl-sized manlet, so you'll just have to use your imagination.
Any woman beyond the one mentioned earlier was out of the question with this as well, so that's just one of them. If I could gain an inch with every month in the gym like people can lose a pound for every week in the gym, I would LITERALLY be in the gym seven days a week. 365 days a year. That's how much I would give up to no longer be a small little weakling, trapped in this genetically worthless sack-of-shit manlet body I'm a prisoner in. However... No matter how much I hit the punching bag, or lift the bar up and down, I can never get over that feeling. That feeling of never being good enough... For both the majority of Western women, and myself.
But yeah, I don't like being physically weak and small, and that's that. And although I don't put that expectation on a partner and all (because they're a woman), *IDEALLY* I would not like to have a physically small and weak partner, anyway. I'd see it as a reflection of myself. Dating some 5'6" 100 pound little weakling of a woman would basically be saying to the world "she is a female me" and that she is a reflection of myself. Although I can't make up for my own genetic shortcomings, I at least still want a woman who has what I could never obtain. The female equivalent of the size, strength, and physical power I worked for through my entire teens to try to get.
5'10" to 5'11" would be nice enough on a woman. 6'0" and 6'1" would be cool. 6'2" and 6'3" on a woman are BIG turn-ons for me! And 6'4" and 6'5" are arousing AF.
The only reason I stop there is because realistically, I'll probably never meet another woman who is over 6'5" again. I knew one in high school, she was 6'6"/198 cm, full figured, had equally massive 48MM breasts or something like that, was Costa Rican American, wore really thick coke-bottle glasses, had freckles, and chubby lips, and was generally considered pretty nerdy and not that attractive to a lot of boys. But she had the KINDEST heart and was super-sweet and lovable and I had the BIGGEST crush on her! I legit wanted to marry her and make her my wife at the time, even if the rest of the school would've seen us as "two freaks." Legit, the only reason I never asked her out is because at seven inches shorter than her, I felt like I stood no chance in hell.
Hopefully at 667 words, this is enough reasoning for you. I want a BIG, tall, strong, sexy, feminine woman and want to be an even BIGGER guy next to her. Like the King and Queen of town. But if I'm always stuck as a f*ckin' short-sh*t that always gets rejected for it, then at least, I'd still want my "queen," whether society says I'm "worthy" of her, at my sh*tty "girl size," or not.
You just went onto Google and misread "5.9" feet as five feet, nine inches, didn't you?
I'm not going to get into this whole thing, because I remember you from before, but: 1) 5.90 feet is non 5-foot-9-inches.
2) Comparing me to fucking worthlessness is not a compliment or positive in any way. In fact, that's literally the most insulting thing I can think of, and one of only two things that CAN offend me.
3) How do you know where I live or come from, and that I HAVEN'T lived in The Netherlands before?
4) I've only dated nine women in my life and all but two have used me or thought of me as being "interesting but unattractive" to paraphrase it as quickly as possible.
5) You have no idea how many women I've tried to talk to, both online and in real life, but the short version, using math to round out an average number, would be in the realm of 18,000. That's not hyperbole; I've hit on no less than 18,000 women since I was 18 years old. So how many I've actually gotten is very little.
6) No human in the world right now, male or female, is eight feet tall. There's only three women in the entire world who are over seven feet tall, two of which are from China, so what the hell is this? Roleplaying, straight up lying, or what? And 8) I answered your question, exactly as stated. Don't come at me for doing what you asked for, because I'm not here to argue, nor do I feel like it.
I like my woman to be about 5⁴ but no more than 5⁸. Reason being I like my woman to have long legs that start at the ground and go all the way up to heaven. Oh wait, that's every woman. I think long legs look good in heels. Plus I like her to have long legs to wrap around me and tall enough I'm not in an awkward position when she makes them knees touch her elbows or when we sixty-nine. But at the same time I want her to be shorter than me so she has to look up to me when we kiss or hold each other. Then too, if she puts on a little weight it will be more evenly distributed.
I'm five ten, so preferably anyone my height and up but I'm more concerned with a guy's personality than something as silly as height. The reason why I'd prefer someone as tall as me is because I like to keep things in my home at an easier height for me to access and I'd prefer to keep things higher up rather than aways having to lean down and bend over for stuff. Also, in my experience with guys who are shorter than me have major insecurities about their height, and it becomes a part of their personality and they would act like a victim and I feel like if I were to be romantically involved with someone they might resent me for being taller than them. I've got nothing against the short kings out there but in my experience, taller guys are more secure with their appearance and confident and that's an attractable trait.
I have no issue with a guy's height and would be fine with really whatever, but it's about their personality. I've had shorter guys ask me out and stuff but when I got to know them they had issues they couldn't get over about themselves and it got really tiresome and annoying. So as long as they don't make height a personality trait I don't care or have an issue with it. My biggest issues have to do with the chemistry between myself and the guy along our values and beliefs, not how much can a guy bench or how tall is he compared to a doorframe. Physical attraction is important but height isn't all that big of an issue for me.
I'm 6'5" and I enjoy rejecting women your height. The truth is you're embarrassed by your height it's your insecurity and it's kind of funny that you punish short guys for an insecurity you have yourself. That shows me you have little compassion. Definitely an ugly character in a woman. But hey good luck.
I'm fairly tall (5'8" in bare feet), so I'm about 6'0" in my high heels, which I wear a LOT, and I've dated guys as short as 5'5", and my boyfriend is 6'6", so I'm really not too concerned with the height issue either way. I think some guys are more concerned about height, especially if the girl is taller than they are. Most of the guys I've dated have been at least 5'10" or taller, but that had no bearing on my decision to date them.
I think the best looking woman are 5”6-5”8 and the best looking men are 5”9-5”11. But I’ve liked guys shorter than that and I’ve met attractive woman shorter than that.
There is evidence that the only reason men are better at STEM is because they are taller and height is associated with STEM intelligence. The other thing is tall guys tended to get more biological and food nourishment as children leading not only to better physical health but better mental and emotional health too.
Well, I never mentioned this (Actually, I did in a previous question), but I also want to have kids one day, and having them with a taller woman (gain, ideally 5'9 to 6'4) might result in my children being larger because of their mother. What do you think of that reason?
Well I read skinny woman and woman with intelligent fathers, give birth to smarter children. I’m Chinese and if you look at the richest Chinese female celebrities, most of them are ugly or average but insanely intelligent. Intelligence is better than beauty. Yoko Ono and Priscilla Chan are examples, Yoko Ono was extremely intelligent and used her brains to attract John Lennon while his ex wife used her looks.
I have Aspergers, and Aspies tend to have at least average intelligence. I graduated from high school with a GPA of 3.4, and was the 2nd smartest student in my class.
I don't know about my friend's sister's build, but she gained muscle in the past few months.
That is a great achievement and you should be proud of that. I once met a guy with schizophrenia who became the chief medical head of a psychiatric ward and a friend of mine had a brain tumour and became a pharmacy professor and my other cousin has 4 Ivy leaguer degrees despite being so bad at chess that even a 6 year old kid could beat her. Keep your chin up and have hope and be kind and humble, you will succeed. I recommend books by Tim Grover if you want motivation. He was Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordon’s basketball couch.
I'm 5'3 (woman) and I'm doing STEM (mathematics). I don't think height contributes to intelligence at all. I know a guy in my class who is the same height as me and is really smart too.
Most of the women I have chosen for LTRs over my lifetime have been 5'0" to 5'1". I like the way we fit together whenever we are being physically affectionate. However, height is not a deal breaker. I also had a LTR with a woman who is 5' 9".
I'm 5'4 so a woman taller than me might feel awkward but if I find her attractive i wouldn't care. For myself I think any woman 5'2 and under would be more suitable. I find tiny women under 5'0 more attractive because it helps create the bigger guy and smaller girl dynamic with me, same with 5'0 to 5'2 women but not as much tbh, but it would still be ideal and in the ballpark range of a good height for myself. Men are attracted to women small to us so i'm no different. I'm also a really small guy that weighs like 115 lbs and there's a lot of women that aren't even that small weight wise that are usually my height or taller so that would also be pretty awkward. Women 5'3+ I don't usually have an immediate physical attraction toward, but I would still find them attractive. wouldn't be a deal breaker, just would't be ideal or preferred.
Ideally, they would be shorter than me by a few inches but I'm short. I would say, as long as they're less than a foot taller than me, I don't mind whatever height. I'm just as fine dating someone who is 5'6 as someone who is 4'6. It would be unlikely for me to date someone who is 6'0+ since I don't want to break my neck reaching for a kiss or having to climb things because I can't reach. Having a taller partner also makes it more likely that my children would be tall.
I never had any height concerns. I would have been just as happy with someone 4'11" or 6'5". As long as she had a nice figure that I liked.
Weight... I liked girls slender all the way up to curvy and thicker (but fit). Weights would vary based on height but... if we had an average 5'4" girl... probably her weighing in the range of 110lbs. up to about 140lbs. is good as long as she is fit.
I'm 6'5" and I'd say 5' to 5'5" is the sweet spot in women. My ideal? 1600.2 mm. Short girls are usually the friendliest. Tall girls have height hangups I'd just rather not deal with. And anything under 5 foot is basically a midget. Say we go to the amusement park. She gets kicked off because she's not tall enough to ride any of the rides.
In my opinion, your female partner should few inches less from your height, if your female partner is taller than you, you will face problem when you go in missionary position during sex
I’m 5’4 so most men tower over me anyways. I prefer guys over 5’8 but tbh as long as they’re taller than me I don’t notice or care. My boyfriend is 5’10 and he’s sooooo tall. He loves that I’m short and we make it work😏.
I don’t really have an ideal height. I’m 4’11 so it’s super easy for a guy that is relatively short to be tall for me. I guess I could say at least 5’7
I don't really consider height too much. I guess Ifind smaller girls more attractive, but I think that might have to do more with aesthetics in a photo. I as m rather short, so dating a girl who is significantly taller than me might look odd in photos. My current girlfriend and crush (two different people) are both virtually the same height as me 5'4". While I don't pick the person I find attractive based on height, I prefer someone whose eyes I can meet without leaning back.
I don't really have one for either sex. The only thing I don't want is smaller than myself, as I am on the cusp of being between 4'11" and 5' depending on who you ask.

I'm a short woman (5'3 ft). While I don't have an ideal height for guys, I like them taller than me. Since my crush is 6ft, I'd say that's the ideal for me.
I'm ok pretty much anything between 3 feet and 8 feet.

Min 6'0. Before you call this unrealistic, i live in a country where the average height for guys my age is like 6'0. The older Generations are shorter than younger generation
