Okay so I work retail as a cashier. And I have a lot of regular customers. And every now and then an old guy will try and flirt with me. most of them kinda take the hint that I have no interest in them and I never see them again. However recently now almost every day I see this older man, he comes through my lane and says some very inappropriate things.
Usually I just suck it up and deal with it. However the other night he came into the store searching for me, didn't even buy anything. He went up and down the registers asking other cashiers where I was. Luckily they all know not to tell where the other cashiers are. Finally he found me on his own, bothered me at self check out, and then left. So that was it, I told management about it. Just to try and alert the to keep this dude away from me. So now if he comes through my line I call a supervisor and let them take care of him.

And also, Now I have to be walked out to my car every single night by a cart pusher or male staff member until my schedule changes so I can work earlier hours. Which I find completely humiliating. Like It won't be so bad if it's one of my friends, like one particular cart pusher or one particular supervisor who I talk to regularly, but today I had to be walked out by a guy I've literally only ever talked to once in a year of knowing him. It's awkward and embarrassing. And I get they're trying to keep me safe, but like, I feel like everyone knows what's going on, and that embarrasses me. And it sucks because I'm a good worker, a geat one, they tell me all the time. But I'm also a small little woman, and a 19 year old, so everyone like considers me a kid as it is. So now it's gonna be "Look at the kid who can't even walk to their car alone." it friggin sucks.

Should I be embarrassed by this?
