My boyfriend started working late nights with a mortuary company. He started pretending he had calls to get done. I believed he was cheating so it got bad and we went our own way. I went to get my car back and caught him red handed with another girl in the car. That night I pulled up he offered me money to go home but I noticed a shadow in the drive way and I managed to run up to the car and found a girl with 2 kids. I didn’t fight her. I took her with me bc she didn’t have a way of getting home and had kids and he also got away in my other car ( I’m dumb af) later that night he broke into my room and was sleeping on my bed. I went through his phone and he had another girl he was actually having a sexual relationship with. I confronted him and exposed him on his IG page. His guy friends congratulated him for his actions, at the end of the day a lot of girl thanked me. I decided to get back with him and forgive him. When he finally took me to his new place he was renting I noticed pictures of a girl who looked familiar , second time around I recognized who it was. It’s his ex from years ago. I was mad but at the same time he brings me over and sometimes I cook there. I don’t know how to feel about it. She’s not always around but when she is she offers him food her mom cooked or she whines and wants to talk about how she got hurt that day , he doesn’t say much just gets back to his room. I just wonder if he had conversations with her before I came around and even ate with her. He’s friendly and doesn’t say no when someone offers him food/conversations. It only makes me wonder what else he’ll accept. I forgot to say the first night I slept over the ex came back & just opened his room door.. she saw me laying down. Since then she keeps her distant but wtf? I’m obviously in love with this guy and tolerate his bs. I’m 23 and he’s 30 He like to act like he doesn’t need me but at the same time he knows he has advantage bc my cars are under his name. I was 19 b4.

This is my list of the many things my ex boyfriend has done:
- Lied about his real age for many years. If I knew, I wouldn't have dated him.
- Lovebombed and lied about a future, lied about wanting kids
- Succeeded in draining most of my fertile years (I'm now 34 years old and childless)
- Defamed my father (he plotted a rumor with his female friend) and my mother nearly filed for divorce
- Messed with my mother's health by lying about her plotting things in our relationship. This made her cholesterol levels (out of stress) and heart beat to rapidly increase.
- Scammed me with over $1,200 and never paid it back
- Was obviously cheating the whole time and likely used my money on women
- Said ''when your grandma dies, don't talk to your aunt anymore''. He was after money.
- I eventually discovered he wanted my parents to already put me in their living will so he can get 1/2 of my portion.. he one said ''your dad should already include you; who knows when your parents will die.

my boyfriend and I have argued in the past over him not defending me against his family being racist, rude, or body shaming me. They’ve made racist jokes, made fun of my body, always say my name wrong, talk about other girls or his ex, and address me by talking to him (hey, Bf’s name, did OP eat before coming?”) or something along those lines as I stand RIGHT by him. I’ve made every effort with them to talk and be nice.
last time he didn’t defend me against a racist joke, he apologized and comforted me after like always but I told him that was the last chance he had.
Today his friend who I’m friends with but not nearly as closely as he is ‘jokingly’ called me flat and said I’m built like a board. He is usually pretty sarcastic and it’s hard to tell when he means it or not. After a few seconds where I didn’t laugh he said “sorry just kidding!!” And I didn’t say anything cause I’m at his/my bf’s house with my boyfriend and I didn’t know if I’d be overreacting. I’ve had many bad experiences of being bodyshamed and made fun of for being skinny and it’s really gotten to me over time. I expected my boyfriend to at least step in and say something guiding— not even outright confrontational— but something like “too far man”, But he didn’t. He just made a sad face at me and went back to scrolling on his phone.
I can’t tell if he just didn’t want to make things awkward for me, if he thought it wasn’t a big deal, or if he once again decided his security was more important than defending me. he definitely heard it happen.
so my questions are-
1: would you have said something if you were him? (I know I should’ve, I was just uncomfortable with it being his+bf’s apartment that I am staying at for tonight).
2: is this a big enough breach to warrant me upholding my “that was your last chance”?
im planning on talking about it with my boyfriend tomorrow no matter what but he fell asleep for now and his roommate is still up so I can’t talk about It with him at this time

i just got in a new relationship and all of a sudden my life just seems to be taking a turn for the worse.
my boyfriend is very loving and the best boyfriend i have ever had. we just started dating a month ago.
in just a week of dating, my abusive ex came to my house randomly and started begging me to take him back after it’s been 6 months of being broken up. he sent me gifts and has been emailing me and getting in contact with me however he can.
a week after that, an old classmate/“friend” i had, messaged me on instagram asking me why i told him to never come by again. he sexually assaulted me while i had fallen asleep while studying with him one time.
i told my boyfriend everything because honesty and openness is important to me and he seems to be understanding, he knew that it really bothered me. i am goin through a depressive time right now and i know i have a lot of emotional baggage that i never expected to deal with. he is still in love with me and is there for me… but sometimes i feel so guilty.

would you leave if you dealt with this with your new girlfriend?
