My girlfriend would've asked this herself, but she doesn't use Reddit, Quora, GirlsAskGuys, or any of these websites.

For the record, me and all of her friends said her dress isn't too short, but she wants opinions from an "unbiased party."

The dress doesn't look that short to me, but she usually wears dresses that end only an inch or two above the knee, and that one is around mid-thigh.

She said she's been working out her legs, and wants to show them off more.

She said this dress makes her feel both extremely confident and self-conscious at the same time. That she loves how it looks on her, but she's not used to exposing so much of her legs.

I'll admit, I used to think that men's shorts that went several inches above the knee were kind of weird. I was used to seeing shorts that ended just around the knee, so seeing shorts that were so much shorter was a novel thing for me.

However, I soon began to realize I actually liked the look of shorter shorts much better than the longer shorts. And it kind of struck me... they're called "shorts" for a reason. They're supposed to be short. They're supposed to show off a lot of your leg, thighs and all.

It wasn't long before I bought a pair for myself... they were way more comfortable than my previous knee-length shorts!

However, people's reactions weren't exactly positive... I'd notice strangers gawking at my exposed thighs as if I was doing something terribly wrong, and people in general would make comments, asking if I bought the wrong size and such.

And my real question is... why? What's wrong with men showing a little bit more thigh? They're just LEGS people! We all have them! And when it's hot it feels nice to have your thighs out and exposed! No need to wear more clothing than necessary.
