About two weeks ago, I was at a marching competition. I was in line for concessions when this boy started talking to me. I quickly learned that we have a lot in common. He told me his name, school, his role in the marching band and which city he lived in. During this whole exchange, we were both laughing and smiling. However, due to the rushing/nagging of my friends, I had to go before I could get his number or anything of the sort but I told him that I hoped I would see him again soon. Throughout the rest of the night, we would see each other around the area and he would smile and wave at me and begin to approach me but something would always get in the way. Once, I was heading for the bus and he was near the gate and he saw me and his face lit up. He said something to the effect of "Hey, it's you!" I told him that I had to go nut I hoped to see him later and he looked sad. If I tried to make contact with him on social media, would it make me seem creepy, pushy, needy, etc? How do you think he would react? Could he possibly remember me? I was completely taken by this boy and I felt an instant connection but I don't want to seem crazy or anything. I could possibly see him at the same event next year but I know that he will not remember me in the slightest. Sorry for the long description, I'm just really stuck on what I should/shouldn't do. Also, sorry for any typos or errors! Also, if this helps, I feel like if I would've had the time to get his number at the event, he would've given it to me. He had a nice vibe radiating if that makes any sense. He was very open to the subtle flirting (I guess you could say) that was taking place.
