So as I was driving, I came down to the conclusion that love is a mutherfucker because you want to be smart about it so you don't look like a certain way or get hurt or regret something but at the same time you want to be happy so you want to keep forgiving them and being with them because they make your heart happy. So either you choose being smart or happy. If you choose the smart route, okay you might have saved yourself from more heartbreak and gain self respect but face it you're not happy. Are you supposed to feel good that you "made the right decision" ? Yeah but you don't. It's even more frustrating that you're doing this to be a certain way when it's not what you want. If you choose to be happy, then you're happy... because you're with the person who makes your heart smile and everything is just more alive. But you're still struggling and stressing and in a way unhappy because the one you love isn't doing what you want him or her to be doing. It seems that both being smart and happy brings the stress in you, but which ones worth it? there's only one that makes you feel fulfilled no matter what the struggle is and that's happiness. I choose being happy as opposed to smart. Right now in going through a tough breakup with the love of my life. I believe we'll be together later in the future and we need this space but it's still hard cause the future is uncertain. But if he were to come back to me (which he already did the first time we broke up) I'm going to take him. Idc if I look dumb or a certain way because choosing the route where I care a lot about how I look will make me unhappy. I rather not care and just care about what's really important to me and that's him. So I choose happy.
