Search Results: should my child get my last name

So I was in a relationship with a guy named Trey. When Trey and I started dating it was absolutely amazing. He, at that time, was the best guy I had ever met. So I thought... Anyways, as time passed by Trey told me he had a daughter. I didn't get upset about it, because he was a great guy, and I wanted to give him a chance. It went from Trey texting me sweet text everyday, to him sometimes not texting me at all. Just recently I found out that Trey is about to have another child this week, which he never spoke about. He's been keeping things from me, and lying to me this whole entire time. And it really hurts, because I cared about him! We haven't talked for a couple of days, and the last time we talked was when I found out he was expecting another child. The mother to his kids has been messaging me, and telling me the lies he's been telling her. I don't know what to do. Although this may sound dumb, I still care about Trey. I honestly didn't know I would care this much. I want to reach out to him, but I'm just not sure anymore. What should I do?

If men want their last name the same as the baby's last name, something that the child should carry as a linage, don't you think the woman (mother) should be able to name the child?
Either that or have both names as the last name.
Seems only fair because I don't think a man should have his last name as the baby's AND get to name or have any sort of say in the baby's other names. It's not just your baby and since the child is carrying the male's legacy by name, a woman gets to enjoy naming the first and middle names.
Just a thought.

Recently he has been mentioning about marriage and his future kids.
For example, he would say: "I dont know how my last name would fit another girl's name. Like yours. Melanie S... if we get married"
by the way he is Indian and when we saw these little indian kids, he would also say: "I hope my children isn't like that. That is why I dont want an Indian wife and instead I want an Asian girl like you. My kids has to be good looking especially the daughter and my son should be tall like me. Hopefully he gets the tall genes from me instead of yours" and starts laughing. And does that mean he thinks Im hot enough to give birth to a good looking kid with him?
And another thing he would say is "you know the Indian traditional clothing? The sari? Well you gotta wear it one day or even on our wedding. You would look amazing"
I dont know if he's being serious about it all? Does this mean he's thinking of future marriage and kids with me? Or just kidding around?
