How close do you stand?

When you’re standing/walking beside your crush, how close are you to them?

Do you stick to them like glue? Or are you still trying to figure out their personal bubble?

I tend to brush into mine a lot… wonder if he notices.

A girl can get away with touching a guy and brushing up against him very easily even if the guy does not like her. Girls can be very defensive in the same situation even if she likes the guy so a guy has to test the waters with more caution. So we will generally test your personal space and watch how you respond. This may start at about 4 feet, then we move closer maybe 2 feet. We may brush past you without touch so that you can smell us. We may mirror you and move in as we see your boundaries collapse. We may grasp you hand and watch your response. It all comes down to how much the girl is willing to give. If you move it forward we can skip a few steps, if you don't we gradually try to take and see if you submit. For some of us, we know that we get extra points for turning you on before we touch you. If we can mind f*ck you by touching with only our eyes and our smile you go crazy for us.

Hahaha. What you're talking about here is called proximity. And how close you stand to your crush depends on several things--or can depend on several things. 1) his personality, 2) your personality, 3) how good your relationship is with that person, and 4) where you want the relationship to go. So, for example, your crush may not like people invading his boundaries or he may love to be physical and social. Proximity can say a lot about a person--surprisingly enough. Anyway, the answer to your question depends on those things.

My advice: In this situation, you obviously like him (I don't know if he likes you as much as you like him). So, I would do what you're doing now. Subtly touch him or brush up against him, but keep a happy medium with how close and how often you get close to him.

i stand a little closer then normal because I want to be next to them-badly!- but also not to freak 'em out. when I'm walking I'm really close, like shoulder to shoulder, like me hand brushes against them- ok- a little creepy, but hey! I like them.

lol I'm sure he notices if your brushing against them. this always embaresses me.

Stand close enough that you can "accidentally" bump into them, but don't be on top of him.

I will stand closer then friends, but still far enough so they can move their elbows around.
