Let's say your daughter is dating a 21 year old black man named Arthur, Arthur is 5'6 and is slim but is trying to gain muscle. your daughter is 24 but is a little taller than Arthur. One day they get into a argument. She pushes Arthur and accused him of cheating. Arthur gets extremely angry. She pushes him again and hits him in the face and calls him disgusting. Arthur hits her, kicks her then pushes her to the ground and towers over her.

He hyperventilates with rage. She says she's sorry and relax man. Arthur goes upstairs and locks himself in his room. He refuses to have s*x with your daughter but he's friendly to you and your family. Arthur also bought homemade cookies when you first met him.

what would you do?

I'll eat the cookies first , then I would think that is her fault for hitting him first is bullsh*t to think ITS OK FOR A WOMAN TO HIT A MAN, BUT IS WRON FOR A MAN TO HIT A WOMAN... no both are wrong plus she's not a kid to be fist fighting I'm glad he put her in her place so she knows is not okay to abuse anyone

There's something wrong with both of them if there's that level of rage, witholding sex, intimidation, violence, no matter if someone knows how to bake and suck up to someone's family or not. Those two shouldn't be together! Do they do hard drugs because they both sound crazy?

I would report the domestic abuse to the police department and talk to my daughter. I can't do anymore than that.

It's her choice. If she decides to stay, I can't help her unless she wants to be helped. It'd really hurt to see her go through thatZ

Nobody deserves to go through abuse. Even at the hands of my own daughter.. even if she suspected he was cheating she shouldn't have resorted to physical violence.

I'd get her counseling as well. It's not my business if they're having sex or not. It's my business that my daughter is emotionally unstable and physically abusive

First point, my daughter would not be dating a black man or anyone who was not white. Period.
Second point, my daughter trains with me at a Shotokan karate dojo.
During the early part of her bad-boy fixation (the standard one that girls go through during their teens) she had the standard oxygen thief boyfriend.
One night, he took a swing at her. She reacted in the way that she had been trained to react. She broke his jaw in five places and she broke the arm that took a swing at her.
Daddy was proud of his little girl that night.
It also saved me the trouble of paying him a visit and giving him a free karate lesson.
