Are guys ticklish? why are men less ticklish than women?

my dad is not at all ticklish on the other hand my brother who is 19 is very ticklish. why is that?

I don't think they really are.. Guys just deal with it differently, they'll try their best not to show it lol.

i don't think its just guys and not girls. I'm ticklish sometimes. it just depends on the person really

Very simple. Due to estrogen ( as a transgender girl I know that all too well ). Estrogen increases the endurance to pain ( as in you feel less pain from the same stimuli, because girls need more pain endurance to be able to give birth ) but you feel more sensitive to light touches ( tickling included ). Why is the sensitivity to light touches increased, I don ' t know. But that ' s how it works.

Generally, because men develop rougher skin during puberty, whereas women really do not. As far as a case-by-case basis, I'm not really sure what makes people ticklish.

Oh I'm very ticklish, not all guys are less ticklish than women. Some of us are too ticklish to hide it, like me. I'm so ticklish on my feet, all you have to do is grab or touch them and you'll know instantly lol. Everybody's different.

The only place I am ticklish is behind my knees and I can control my reaction to it if someone does try to tickle me. My girlfriend is so ticklish all I have to do is move my hand towards the bottom of her foot and she will be across the room.
