Why do Americans dislike their own First Lady? She is gorgeous looking.

Beauty is subjective, in that not everyone finds the same people attractive. Also, it's hard for me to compliment the Trumps in general because my view of them is pretty low. That said, I don't think she's conventionally unattractive, no. She's conventionally attractive, I can understand others finding her very attractive, but even without consideration of her as a person and her choice of spouse, her look is not to my taste. She has very sharp features, a modelesque kind of beauty to be sure, but its not my cup of tea I suppose.

I usully dont like evaluating the first ladies based on their looks too much, because its so cliche. But I do personally favor Michelle Obama to Melania. Melania looks sharper and more modelesque but Michelle has an adorable cuteness to her that I love, softer features that I like, and her smile looks infectious. her personality and accomplishments definitely don't hurt either.

Both are physically beautiful in different ways.
I'll post nice pics of both since we all have horrible pics and can easily find unflattering moments and angles of both women :)

I prefer Melania way more than Michelle. Michelle has that face you see everyday, nothing special. Like you said, just my opinion.

Melania is from another country where I'm sure her features are more common. Her features dont really stand out to me as super unique to me personally, even though she does have a specific look. (I think its just that she's not my cup of tea) Jackie O had a very specific bone structure and face shape, for example, kind of a cat look. I'd say her look stands out as a more uncommon look personally. So if your standard for beauty is "what is least common," I'd go with Jackie O maybe. (I don't remember what all the first ladies look like though lol)

And I think many everyday women are beautiful, so the commonality of features doesn't factor in to me. Beauty to me is more about what I find most pleasing to look at or what draws me in most, evaluation of aesthetics. Not everything that is rare is attractive for me. And I don't really view Melania's features to be that unique tbh. Uncommon and yet common.
