What Girls & Guys Said

True as general tendencies. Not necessarily true with any two specific individuals.
Depends on how you were raised.
Men are cold and calculating. Im logical and warm.
example of "logical and warm":
I fucking hate that guy. Fucking asshole and a dick.
5 days later:
i was fucked by that guy. On toilette.
@dude4554 I said im... cold man... use ur calculations somewhere else
In general yes. But men get much more disrespected if they are emotional vs women who act logical.
No
I am logical than my fiancé is
Yes because you are the dominant one in the relationship.
@Shydude91 Very true
The dominant ones are more logical
Yeah, submissives like myself are more emotional.
That's far too black and white of a statement.
Very dependent on the person so somewhat disagree.
All humans are ALL human.
So you know my view as hjnzbs we all possess the traits that hjnzbs poses. We call in them in different amounts at different times in different ofoortikks in denationalized to the situation we find iirsejves thing to navigate our way through.
I am intersted to know what reference point is being used here for emotional and logical, respectively?
No definition was laid out so the answers really show what kind of qualities people attach to emotion and logic- which is really intersting thiigh not necessarily accurate. I think the answers are based more on which camp people see themselves fitting into, then coming up with behaviors they are comfortable attributing to themselves.
People attach impulse to emotion and fail to see the dike melon lists in morality and ethics.
Logic is attached to intelligence and the actual procrss of decision making as a human being , not a shark for ex -which requires ethical determination - is overlooked.
logic does not extinguish impetuousnous , not does emotion obstruct methodical thinking... No decision is ever going to be purely any one component bc you would lack the mental ehenebgs required to act.
I am never against questions I think we can learn from anything but only if we actually try. I unfortunately regardless of intent, questions lke these elocutions lots of bias and seif satisfying reflex reaction... Lots of arbitrarily labellong something emotional or logical then ascribing it to people engaged in those activities - often through no choice if their own- is common and has Little to do with trying to understand anyone or anything authentically.
I would love to see this kind of subject -emotion and logic and it’s implications in human behavior - discussed seriously. As in we don’t know the answer and we discuss it... Rather than deciding what is true before even thinking.
This looks more like• I know you are but what am I• 🤷♀️🤷♀️
No attempt at all to have a common definition from which to begin.
So that we can all start on the same page then break off into different views based on a clearly understood starting point.
I’m curious how People wouid apply the conceit if raoe to emotion or logic. Bc based pop culture views of emotional and logical behavior- you can very easily refer to it as a simultaneously emotional - out of control or logical - lacking moral judgement - act.
We hit against theoretically impossible questions, when trying to ascribe a single human trait to any human behavior or act. OR when using a single rule to any problem/ solution. Human beings are complex in constantly varied situations that require a whole Host of capability, working in tandem and differently depending upon context... Not single cell organisms.
#CORRECTION:
Sorry. First paragraph is full of typos. Autocorrect was at work after I already typed them in their correct form and had moved on, so I did not see until now.
•So you know my view. As as humans, we all possess the traits that human beings posess. We call in them up in different amounts at different times in different proportion to other traits, in relation types of situations to the situation we find ourselves trying to navigate our way through.•
I’m noticing a lot of convenient yet conflation
...
Emotional depth not mean irrational behavior, nor does logic equal rational behavior.
Nor does how one is taught to express oneself in general, provide in depth information as to how they process information nor how they will handle different situations.
@OP
Seriously. Why not provide common definitions? For all you know people are agreeing on words with while approriatjng entirely different definitions. Having common working definition is a logical step in any discussion about defining characteristics. It would make the comments much more relevant and interesting.
I think with my dick and feel with my heart.
Agree but there are always exceptions to the rule
both women and men are logical and emotional
Only a shallow clichee, nothing more
Girls are emotional? Since when?
Generally it is true.
Agree... It's evolutionary.
As a blanket statement, yes
Of course not, i'm a man and i'm emotional af.
Disagree
These are stereotypes
@anniisa why did you choose to answer to my comment in particular? There are lots of other comments similar to mine
These doesn't explain how there are a lot of successful female lawyers. In fact women out number male lawyers now in the legal profession and there were more female than male students in law schools...
