Hell yeah. Never would be but I worked in the prison systems.

And unless you're a rapist, child molester, gang related, or some other bottom tier ranks you're pretty much safe. More so if you just keep to yourself and/or certain people. In fact for some it's a freaking holiday camp - three square meals, exercise equipment, television, contraband if it can be sneaked in, visiting hours (even conjugal visits), etc. - compared to living out among regular people

Freaking sad when prisoners are in ways treated better than law obeying senior citizens by governments.

I wouldn’t want to… The places are basically filled with Blacks and Hispanics where I’m from. I think it’s like 11% White here. I’m sure I could survive… I’m tall, muscular, have a deep voice, and can handle myself well. I’m pretty intimidating when I want to be and I’ve done enough dirt to understand crime well. I don’t really get lonely and weird living arrangements don’t bother me… Division based on race would be the biggest issue in my opinion. I’d always be outnumber 4 or 5 to 1 if anything happened.

I think most guys could.. except... the rape thing. If you think about it, the authorities let that go on and everyone laughs about it but everyone could end up there. There are plenty of people in prison because the legal system grinds out convictions through plea bargains. Harsh “anti crime” laws were enacted (eg “three strikes”) which took any discretion away from judges (who themselves are mostly former prosecutors) and have it to the DA’s -kind of like letting the “home team” pick the referees.

I don't why but over last year or so this has been on my mind - I used to think that if you kept quiet and head down you might get threw it but there seems to be a lot of prison dramas on, how true they are I don't know but there seems to be a lot more gang culture and protection rackets going on than I realised - The lone wolf thing wouldn't work I think so I reckon it would be hell.

Probably. I mean, most people do, it’s not like most people get killed in prison, they do their time and leave. I’m sure it can be a rough ride for some, but it’s survivable.

Most likely. There are some differences from prison to military, but the atmosphere of being deprived certain rights would be familiar. The only issue I'd have is the fact I keep to myself when prison life is about making alliances to survive and then fearing your allies.

I know I can. Not proud of myself by any stretch of the imagination, but I made it through 4 and a half years. Burglaries.. when I was younger, and obviously stupider.. we all have a past, its whether or not you learn from the experience and I most assuredly did. Unlike a lot of guys (and girls I guess) I've never been back. These days I'm about as upstanding a citizen as anyone else. Live and learn

personally I'll be able to survive since I have lived by myself sñfrom the ages of 16-22 & all throughout I've run into alit of crazy drama/beefs with many different types of people

I'd probably spend all my time doing pull ups and other exercises working out.

Basic food snd water. No responsibilities. I could handle it.

This question is flawed and I will explain why.
A life sentence ends when you die. It could be a few hours to decades. If you get parole (which mist likely would not happen) or clemency you did not serve a life sentence in prison.
