I'm not liberal (thank god) but I am white. Who has a lot of friends from diverse nationalities & religions. The ignorance of many liberals about non white cultures is, in many ways, both pathetic & amusing.
And gotta say you've hit on an interesting point. Self hate. A lot of liberals seem to be just that. It's exemplified in how they so willingly accept people from countries that'd rather stone a gay man to death than shake his hand yet liberals yap loudly about gay rights - and similarly they'd welcome people who'd turn women into chattel with open arms while preaching about equality.
You can't have both. At some point in time we're gonna reach a boiling point & then what.
Liberals maybe able to bully fellow whites into compliance by rainbow flags or screaming sexism but they should never expect the same "obedience" from others whose religious/cultural mentality is centuries older and often highly ingrained. I speak Mandarin (relatives lived in China for 50 years) and must say it's entertaining what some foreigners say when they think the "stupid whites" can't understand them.
A freaking Arabic-speaker at one of the refugee camps years ago said more or less the same - that the refugees were anything but innocent lambs seeking shelter.10 Reply

I'm not a leftist, nor white, but WHOA! What kinda toxic question is this? What's the purpose or argument here with making such a bias accusation on an ethnic group? This is why I dislike religions, people are so quick to twist and misinterpret scriptures. This isn't far from when people once viewed Christains as satanic worshippers when they took part in communion.
01 Reply- +1 y
Toxic doesn't mean anything except that it hurts feelings. I don't care about hurting feelings.
It's a racial group, not an ethnic group.
This had nothing to do with religion; I don't know why you even brought that up, and you just become more incoherent the more I read.
Nothing personal, but it seems you were just offended and didn't have an answer.

It's meant to be inflammatory. There are routinely questions of a Leftist leaning that are in the very least as radical as this, not to mention those posed by black people who are as racist as this is. I'm not surprised people are as shocked as they are, as they're numb to hearing this bs from the other side.

I'm a liberal and assuming that on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being that I hate myself more than anything else, I give myself a solid zero. Open your eyes, man. Us leftist women do not desire to be subjugated, raped, and destroyed by men. Muslims are generally law abiding citizens

I’m not a leftist but I will say you’re a jerk. How could you say that all Muslim men are rapists. That’s not true. That’s like a foreigner saying all Americans are obese idiots.
240 Reply- +1 y
First, foreigners do say that Americans are obese idiots, often.
And Muslim men subjugate women, this is not debatable (show me a Muslim country where women are equal status to men in any aspect), and you need only look at the rates of rape in Sweden to know what happens with you pump hordes of Muslim men into Western societies (spoiler: the rates increased ten-fold in a decade. This means while one woman may be assaulted, there are now ten with the gangs of Muslim men running loose). - +1 y
You can't speak any other language than English, can you? I speak three on top of English & let me tell you something many foreigners do call Americans obese idiots. And worse. Take a couple of old Chinese ladies in the bank I encountered last year... they were calling America a 3rd world shithole & became as quiet as the dead when the Anglo behind them (me) told them to "go home then" in Mandarin.
Do you know any Muslims btw? How about Christians from Muslim countries. Two of my colleagues are the latter (Christians from Muslim countries) and they hate Muslims. Hate them. Leftists think whites are bad. They should shut up and listen to what non-Muslims people from Muslim countries that have been subjected to racism, hatred, rape & discrimination at Muslim hands say about Muslims. Or even minority Muslims how they are treated. It'd open their eyes. Muslims are hardly the innocents the leftists try to make them out to be. Far from it. One merely has to pay attention to the sex slavery that's rampant to realize that. My two colleagues are black by the way, born in Africa. - +1 y
@PrimalInstinct I speak Spanish and Mandarin fluently; German and Japanese at the beginner level. Although I'm assuming this was to the courageous (sarcasm) anon here?
I give you credit for not buying into the Leftist lie of how the loose contradictory coalition they've created could ever agree on anything other than destroying the native institutions of any Western country they happen to be in.
I've also been to Iraq twice; so, I know first hand how Muslims are in their own countries. - +1 y
@4mazing You've actually read the article, right? It admits the weakness of the study, i. e. that it does not college ethnicity of the perpetrators, which many Swedish women would lie about if given the chance:
www.independent.co.uk/.../...eported-a6975041.html
Not to mention the study goes on to say that the category of high-risk individuals roughly equate to a 5X greater likelihood of violent offense, while IF (they're not saying that they're not necessarily) the migrants are responsible they'd be 84 TIMES MORE LIKELY TO RAPE, which they don't THINK is reasonable...
Yea, the study you provided does nothing to dispel the notion that migrants ARE far higher to commit rape, just that the drastic increase in risk would be slightly mitigated by the expansion in the definition (to include molestation).
Not that a Western country would ever try to fudge study results, or make a blatant cover up:

@4mazing I'm a nationalist, not a tribalist. To answer you directly, and without resorting to ad hominem attacks, my current political/ social weltanschauung (German- world view. Since you've called me a "nazi," figured I'd use some of the "father" tongue as irony) is derived from a few key points:
My upbringing instilled me a sense of personal responsibility for ones life, and patriotism, which are best reflected by the conservative ideological framework. Patriotism was also something I felt, which is why I joined the Marines, and in turn became aware of the cultural divide during two tours in Iraq, as well as a dozen trips overseas (Vietnam, etc.). These experiences reinforced a preference and appreciation for my home culture.

@4mazing My first college major was criminal justice, during which it became typical for the (Leftist) sociological professors to denigrate historic figures (e. g. George Washington), and push a narrative of white guilt. This narrow, and clearly intent-ridden, approach of claiming Western (i. e. white) cultures were historically more evil than any other was something a full grasp of history (as I've gained from reading hundreds of books, and watching history channel as a toddler on up) clearly disproves, and furthermore as a white person I vehemently oppose those not just on the basis that they instill a sense of permanent/ inherited guilt on behalf of those who did nothing wrong, it destroys any possibility that my people could ever be prideful in their heritage.
I see this as metaphorically robbing white people of a sense of identity (something black, Asian, etc. people enjoy), as to identify with their people comes with it acceptance that "whites are evil, oppressive, maniacal, etc." with no mention of the great and noble feats we've achieved for millennia).

@4mazing Lastly, I am a believer in certain inalienable truths, tied at times to classical Liberalism (John Locke), that do not jive with the relativism of post-modernist thought. Not to mention, as a nationalist, I feel that a globalist identity has no salience, adds nothing to personal identity, and serves to construct a world where important cultural differences are erased on the assumption that these (much like borders) are the reason for conflict.
Does this answer your question?

@4mazing You've never been to Sweden have you? It's one of many countries (Germany is another) where the police have gone out of their way to tell women, specifically blonde, to dye their hair so that they are not so blatant targets.
That study you quoted, by the way, is complete & utter bullshit. The predominant criminal in Swedish prisons is a foreigner. It's a well-known fact by examining the statistics of prisoners within the last five years. That study simply looks at nationality which as refugees are quickly given landed immigrant status means that it is biased & inaccurate. Actual study of the names reveals factuality. - +1 y
Thank you for that detailed and interesting answer, Matt. Might it be possible that part of the left's self-loathing as you see it is rather a (sometimes exaggerated) prudence? After all, groups tend to find it a lot easier to see everything that is great about themselves and everything that is wrong with those outside the group (similarly to individuals), whereas self-awareness, including of your own flaws, takes deliberate effort and work? Seeing as nationalism led to two fairly recent cataclysmic world wars, is it any wonder that many people are uncomfortable with it and desire closer ties with other nations?
@PrimalInstinct Do you live in Sweden? - +1 y
@4mazing For 15 years. My mother is Swedish. Foreigners such as yourself don't know anything about the reality of Sweden because the liberal mentality has such a paranoid even demented stranglehold even voicing a minor opinion against refugees can be considered a hate crime punishable by fines & jail time.
- +1 y
@PrimalInstinct That may be true. The media here often pokes fun at our neighbour to the east.
- +1 y
@4mazing You are in Denmark, apparently? I can see the media poking fun. This is but a 6 minute skit of what Sweden is becoming & it is tame compared to some of the refugee areas (slums really where crime & theft & assault is as common as snow). Rape statistics in Sweden have skyrocketed & the only thing that's changed is those they've allowed into the country.

@PrimalInstinct I get that your social skills aren't that good, so let me spell it out for you:
I AM NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR PREJUDICED BULLSHIT. I HAVE HEARD IT ALL BEFORE.
Anyone who wasn't asleep in history class knows exactly where the kind of blind hatred you are promoting leads.
So no thanks. Goodbye. - +1 y
@4mazing That's because you're a moronic cunt. There's no socialist bullshit in fact. Weak & spineless men certainly think it is, though.
- +1 y
@4mazing In fact I highly doubt you know anything about Muslims. You likely don't know the difference between Sunni & Shai Muslims, how Muslims treat non-Muslim people or minority sects. Leftist weaklings like you are, all in all both pathetic & useless.
- +1 y
@4mazing I bet you are too stupid to know that non-whites have a very similar mentality towards Muslims. My colleagues are both from Africa and DESPISE Muslims. Completely despise them.
- +1 y
@4mazing Prudence? I don't think so, at least for the rank and file Leftist. I believe that the current paradigm of what is seen as objective, and "enlightened," is to sidestep bias so purposefully that one must oppose their own people (in terms of White, Western people) to have credibility (a behavior no other ethnic, national group practices). 80% of Social Science professors admit to being "left leaning," this is a drastic increase since the 1950's (and the literature behind this was readily handed out during my first PhD course). This worldview is instilled in any student in a liberal arts institution, as it is nearly mandatory to take political science 101, which in turn proposes the anti-West (white)= enlightened narrative as the "educated" perspective.
- +1 y
@4mazing Secondly, you say that both world wars were due to nationalism? I disagree.
Nationalism, since the Peace of Westphalia, created a structure to the international system that has drastically DECREASED conflict. In essence, the nationalist doctrine simply states that each land should be sovereign to those who live within said country (within defined borders).
WW1 was caused because of alliance blocs, and a rising power vs. an established power, not a result of nationalism, despite the close relations of the monarchs. WW2 was a result of the treaty of Versailles, war reparations, and national disgrace leveled at Germany, which was mobilized via racial grounds, but primarily in vengeance. - +1 y
Yeah sorry bro, not buying your "WW1 and 2 weren't because of nationalism". And blaiming the Treaty of Versailles was what Hitler did too. I mean, what other options did the poor man have than to rearm, invade the rest of Europe and industrially slaughter Jews?
Can't be bothered to argue with historical revisionists with some paranoid, hateful agenda like yours. Yes, many anglophone university professors and students are nuts - no, that is not the prime threat everyone should be focused on right now. Those people have very little real power. Meanwhile you have an American president whom I wouldn't be surprised to learn you support, who puts himself above the law and basically always manages to choose the most destructive position on every issue. - +1 y
@4mazing Listen, I'm not a hawk like John Bolton, or even former General Mattis, but the most destructive path would have been a military strike, that would surely set the middle-east ablaze. Just because I don't think invading them, or obliterating their air force/ navy would have been a good idea, do you really trust a government that has sworn to wipe Israel off the face of the earth (since you're so concerned with the Jewish people) can be trusted to not develop nuclear weapons since North Korea has shown that is the only assurance a country can have that will preempt them from US invasion?
- +1 y
Leaving a nuclear agreement Iran was abiding by at a time when Iran has its most moderate and least confrontational president for ages for a mixture of blinkered ideological hawkish reasons and the desire to spite your predecessor.
After the predictable rise in tensions, you murder Iran's second-most-prominent official, in the aftermath of which Iran mistakenly shoots down a passenger airliner.
You then dismiss dozens of your troops' traumatic brain injuries after Iranian retaliation as "headaches".
And pretend that you won the stand off.
The ignorance of basic human psychology required to pull this off is pretty amazing.
"Hearts and minds" became the mantra after the gross misjudgement that was launching the Iraq war.
That lesson has already been shelved in favor of brute (and massively disproportionate) force.
Reckless and idiotic. - +1 y
@4mazing He bluffed, Iran called it and launched a symbolic missile attack to save face. There top General is still dead, as the one who led the Iranian paramilitary forces across the middle-east, arming anti-Western, Anti-Israeli groups for decades.
They also armed the insurgents with a fun little IED, which like a sabot round fired a liquid projectile through armor, which came about two minutes from killing several of my friends if we hadn't noticed it. Not to mention the dozens of others we found in stockpiles along the Euphrates. Who do you think directed this?
As far as moderation in their government, the institutions of their political system, and the ideological framework they rely on have far more to do with their actions than personal agency of the puppet (i. e. president). Even a Liberal like yourself can see that if you weren't hoping for the downfall of Western civilization. - +1 y
Am also starting to question why America should be trusted with nukes by the rest of the world. America is the only country that has ever used them on civilians. America is increasingly acting like a global bully, accountable to no one, allying itself with really unpalatable actors and with officials that gleefully insult and degrade their supposed former allies. From Iran's perspective, WTF is America doing in their back yard? Iran isn't in Mexico or Canada threatening war. Iran isn't policing America's military arsenal.
- +1 y
Last I checked you don't preserve civilization by electing an uncivilized buffoon who can't stop kissing dictator ass and who doesn't respect press freedom or the law to the presidency.
So all those accusations from the right about leftists hating the West ring really hollow. Trump is turning America into a laughing stock all over the world. Anyway, it's over. China and India are ascendant, whether you like it or not. - +1 y
@4mazing This belief you have: of if we had just played nice and minded our own business the Arabs/ Muslims wouldn't hate us is mentally lazy, and most recently practiced by that idiot Obama. Our first interaction with Arab/ Muslims was w/ the Barbary pirates, which attacked our ships for years, and if you want to get ACTUALLY informed, the West has been getting attacked by the Islamic power (s) for centuries, (perhaps millennia if you consider the Persian invasion of Greece, which ofc predates Islam), which owned the Iberiam Peninsula, and if not for good old Vlad (and Charles Martel in terms of Europe proper) could have conquered Eastern Europe (as they had already sacked Constantinople).
But, no, you're right, OBVIOUSLY. It must have been our fault they invaded us... - +1 y
@4mazing India is not ascendant. They haven't controlled their birth rate, are such an amalgam of classes, religions, provinces that they'll never be a coherent nation-state. China, certainly, but this is historically a return to equilibrium. However, if you knew anything about China (bc spoiler alert: they're the focus of my dissertation) you'd know they were a civilization-state (over 50 different dialects), whose government only possesses legitimacy (i. e. the mandate of heaven) due to economic prosperity entirely reliant on cheap exports... You think a developed nation grows at double digit growth ad infinitum? Hardly. They'll provide a counter-balance to the US, but if the West rediscovers our spirit, and at least maintains our military prowess (which has always outmatched China, e. g. Opium wars) they'll be little more than a large trading partner, easily dissolved via contingency.
- +1 y
There is maneuvering room between "playing nice" and going out of your way to shit on the rest of the world.
Also, constantly focusing on everything you despise about other countries and their people, all the things that separate you is just blinkered.
People are so much more alike than they are different, if you bother to get to know them instead of just being prejudiced. - +1 y
@4mazing Who said anything about me saying that I hate China (or India for that matter)? I absolutely love China. I love their people, their language, their food, and my most recent trip has been to Hong Kong, where my girlfriend's family (who is, surprise, Chinese) came from showed me the sights. This entire dialogue arose because I simply lack the distaste for my own culture, nation, etc.
- New +1 y
@4mazing I would disagree with that approach as well. Refinement is one of the keys to reaching a higher level. This is why there must be a balance between the right and left, order and chaos, to reach a workable equilibrium; however, I believe popular culture and academia have become so far skewed Left (manifested by hatred for the country, and our majority demographic group) that it is inviting just as extreme a right leaning movement in reaction.
However, this neglects the widespread self-hatred (e. g. extreme "introspection") of white Liberals, which goes beyond self-examination. - New +1 y
We can agree that there are some very weird academics and products of academia being produced at the moment. I guess because I have experienced first-hand being "canceled" by a group of feminist vegans I used to hang out with, it doesn't really scare me. I just feel contempt for them. They tend to be utterly ignorant about scientific facts and in the long run that will be their deathknell. It might seem powerful to be a young writer at the Guardian, but the more STEM takes over the economy and the workforce, the more irrelevant they will become as all their claims will gradually be dismantled.
If you're interested, I found this illuminating:
