Why are trump supporters such mean people?

Okay one thing I have realized is that trump supporters are all such assholes. I mean they go out of their way to offend people and piss of the left all the time. I mean why do those assholes go out of their to be pieces of shit and have everyone hate them

I feel like liberals are actually pretty damn mean. I’m a republican, and my family is mixed between left and right. The left side of my family is way more judgmental, and will really try and put you down if you support Trumps efforts. The right side of my family simply encourages rational discussion because they believe it’s necessary to hear both sides.

Back in 2016 when he was elected, I was in college, and leftist were actually cussing out Trump supporters a lot. They had podiums and booths to talk about politics, and it just went crazy.

Based on my experience, it’s polar opposite.

I think it's interesting that you chose to ask this anonymously. But to answer your question; the Left-ish representation in government has done a lot to make the Right wing resentful. I try to listen to news coverage on both sides, and I heard a great interview that Ben Shapiro did of Alan Dershowitz yesterday. Alan mentioned very early in the interview about how his statements before the Senate in Trump's impeachment hearings were totally skewed. The video was published today. Because their leader is a piece of shit asshole who does the same thing. They're just emulating his behavior. In all fairness though, I can't say EVERY supporter is like that. I have several acquaintances that I like, and hang out with, who are extremely wonderful people. WHY they like trump is a mystery to me, but we agree not to talk politics. What I have noticed is that younger trumpers are crazy and will get to be violent at the drop of a hat. Also that many of the older trumpers are just sour, mean spirited people who were like that before anyway but got worse ! LOL I'm sure they would be just as mean if Hilary had been elected.

You have to consider their education level. Most of them can't spell, or even put sentences together (and Trump can't EITHER!). Combine that, with the meanness that comes out of Trump's mouth (he makes fun of EVERYONE, and makes up stupid insulting 10-year old nicknames for them), and you have a lot of mean stupid people who can't figure out real news from 'fake' news.
