That question warrants a lengthy answer.
Because the leftist view of the world is founded on an imagined dichotomy wherein the evil white male patriarchy have orchestrated everything bad about the world for their own gain in institutionalized power structures, hold all responsibility for it and deserves resentment and punishment for the sake of a perverted social justice for minorities and women.

Little wonder this is the face of the radical left, seeing as their philosophy is based on Marxism and collectivism, which dictates that every human being is defined by a group and collective they naturally adhere to by virtue of socio-economic circumstances which determine statuses of victimhood or privileged oppressor. The individual has no discernible value in itself and *must* think, feel and act in accordance with their status. That is why for example, they cry with outrage at say, a conservative black man and name call him an, "uncle tom", a traitor to, "his own kind".
Despite being self-proclaimed heralds of tolerance and anti-racism and anti-sexism they themselves keep racism alive by constantly putting it as the center of every debate, imagining it in every corner, and suggesting that any hatred of the majority, "the whites", is justifiable because of the colour of our skin.

Meanwhile the right completely bases their evaluation of someone on a strict meritocratic foundation, not their, "victimhood points", not their privilege nor skin colour, yet we are called the racists for not believing that ethnic groups should get special treatment, unfair advantages or exemption from the law simply because they happen to be a minority, and because we do not live our lives with utter self-hatred.

Of course, this world view is completely disgusting, false and hypocritical by all measures. But this wave of radical leftism is dying out, conservatism is growing, and soon enough the era of unfiltered insanity will be over and as always, rationality will take hold again.

Because their entire ideology is based on the idea that White men=evil, everyone else=victim, with the ultimate goal the destruction of Western Civilisation and the creation of a formless mass of people with no identity that can be controlled by a select few on top.

Because they are viewed as a toxic element in society (much in the same sense they refer to "toxic masculinity") who are the oppressors of everyone else supposedly below them on the intersectional grievance ladder. If a white man is to be tolerated he must acknowledge and make penance for his unearned "privilege" and subsequently become an "ally" to the cultural Marxist movement.

Because they know they can trick suburban whites to agree with it because of there guilt. Sadly I have family members who live in suburban areas that when they hear something on the news they go drive to the big city and march with protesters. The thing about it is, you don't know wtf is going on. You pretty much march down there make objective criticisms and then when the real work or lives get back to normal your off sleeping in a rich neighborhood that never has the issues you continue to stoke. It's people like that and there constant excuses for doing so that give Liberal leaders and easy way in to hate white males. Funny enough the leaders of there party Joe Bidden and Bernie Sanders are both white males.

They are jealous of how much White men have accomplished and how pathetic they look by comparison. The liberals want to be lazy, not work, get free stuff their whole lives, do drugs, steal, cheat on their partners/do hook ups and spread diseases. Why worry about it? White men are killing themselves in unprecedented numbers. I think most honest and hard working white men have given up on America.

I don't really blame them. It'll be those who are left that will be screwed. White men would've defended this country, but not any more. Women and minorities with have to step up if America is attacked.

it's in the media, there are some like this... I don't experience it. Stuff in media is amplified same way as we see middle east.

They don't hate white men. They believe that white men are the most "privileged" group in Western societies, specifically America, because straight white men suffer far less racism, sexual harassment, gender discrimination and discrimination based on sexuality than other groups such as ethnic minorities, LGBTQ and women.
