True but I believe that we will never live in peace because we're selfish and self centered about our own opinions.. Not necessarily because they differ.

It's not that hard to show some empathy. Differences could be accepted and tolerated but many out there don't even try to find value in someone else's opinion if it doesn't match with one's own.

No, we humans are competitive by nature because being competitive is essential for any organism to survive for which it can go to any extent; hence, as long as we're competitive, permanent peace is not possible.
