Have you ever met a Schrodinger's "Jerk"? What's your story and when did you realize they were one?

Schrodinger's "jerk":
A person who decides whether or not they're full of shit by the reactions of those around them.
Example: John often says racist, homophobic, sexist, or rude things to people. If he's called out on it he says "I was joking" but if he isn't he says nothing. He's a real Schrodinger's jerk.

I know a girl who loves sleeping with black guys (which is perfectly fine) but the moment she's around any family member, she will join in on conversations about how nasty it must be to be with black guys. It pisses me off lol but I bite my tongue
