I have been in closest contact with both.
As an 'institution' I find Islam as rotten and 'mis-used' as Christian -and partly Buddhist- organizations as well.
(I meanwhile think that honest faith needs no club membership)
The Turks... I only met them in Germany - where the (younger) men are macho posers, and the girls are quite sexy.
Overall: no major complaints :)

Hmm... what "should" you think of a religion that calls for death to anyone who "blasphemes" the name of their prophet, or threatens anyone who speaks out against their religion? I will be told "no, these are only the fanatics", but they kill their own as well. I do believe there are many peace loving Muslims, but I also believe their prophet was a pedophile shyster and evil person.

It's a purely percepti perception operation. Our Prophet is not weak enough to marry a small child. They're confessions to evil Islam. Yes, the Prophet had many wives, but he did not marry to use them for a bad purpose. He's had wives he's never had an affair with. The reason she got married so much is because she didn't want women who lost their wives in the war at the time to be alone.

Keep telling yourself that. Whatever your rationalization, he was not a man of peace. And your radical followers INDEED kill your own people. Every Muslim has a retort or rationalization for the facts to justify Mohammed's actions. Christ told his followers to dust themselves off and move on if their words fall on deaf ears. Where in the Quran do you find that? Hint: you don't.

I met a Turkish girl and I noticed about how she desperately tries to show that she is a European. I found it funny and got somewhat angry when she tried to show some prejudice to an Asian guy. I felt bad, so I told her "You're Asian too. Europe doesn't count Turkey as one of their countries. 97% of you country stands in Asia, and there's absolutely nothing bad about it, please understand that." She never talked with me again. Later I found out that a lot of Turks call themselves European.

If Turks aspire to be European it's to their credit. They have a long ways to go though.

Neutral. I don't know much about the Turks and I don't particularly approve of any religion, Islam included. I think all religions are an excuse for violence and ignorance, holding humanity back from achieving its true potential. But Islam isn't any worse than Christianity, Taoism, Greek mythology, etc.

I’m biased against Islam which is an arcane religion that breeds violence- especially against women. But I try not to have any preconceived notions of people, no matter where they’re from.

Btw- also biased against all religions. But Islam is worst.

Yeah I am Americanized but it’s true came from China :(. China too many people and altering its environment caused super virus. It is very unfortunate. If I live in China I personally would only live where there is not too much people. but yeah I still like my roots and people.
Turks caused Europe trouble for a long time. They tax trade between Asia and Europe so Europeans find trade routes by sea and that lead to Europeans colonizing

Well I am Americanized so I am not like Chinese from China but even in China most people do not eat dogs. Cats was never popular to begin with and recently dog was outlawed in China www.google.com/.../china-signals-end-to-dog-meat-consumption-by-humans

As for Uighurs I think it is bad thing and I personally don’t support. But China is trying to deal with Islam in its own way. Europe opens arms to Islam and then they behead French teacher lol. But I don’t support harsh treatment though because I know Uighurs are mostly peaceful people. I mean Turkey has had regimes too concerning minorities right? Both Turkey and China have strict governments I think
