Anonymous(36-45)+1 yYOU are tired of hearing about racism....wow...good for you. I'm glad you have that option because the people who are experiencing it up to and including Asians which you so callously reference as "it being good to be Asian" because apparently they aren't experiencing racism (literally where have you been...since the pandemic, they have been hit particularly hard in that old racism department) don't get the option to just ignore it and walk away as if it doesn't exist because its tiring to them.
People act like we should be so much further than we are in stamping out racism, but SILENCE has been the number on perpetuator of racism. When racism goes unchecked by an employer, by a so called friend, by the law, by the courts, by the media, by the government, by family, it is allowed to continue and the persons on the other side to suffer.
If you are sick of hearing about it all the time, do something about it. Learn what it is and talk to people of all races who experience it, and when you see it, hear it, do something about it like speak up and tell the person doing it that that's not right. Educate yourselves and them. That is far far far more helpful than burying your head in the sand and saying I wish we'd just all stop talking about it...because that's the absolute worst thing you can do if you want to help do your part to end racism.20 Reply

+1 yI’m tired of experiencing it, witnessing it, and hearing about it. People like me get the worst of it. I sometimes wish I were a cat, but even cats get hate. I wish I could say one day there will be no racism but I have to be realistic. Racism will never go away. As long as there are people who look different, it will always exist.

+1 yWell why are people still fixated on racism? Because its been weaponized by the politicians, specifically of the left. They need people to be terrified so they can be easily manipulated, thats why they don't tell you that the combined total of the KKK and NeoNazi's at highest estimates and rounded up is less then 10,000 members in a nation of 212 MILLION white people. Thats why they don't tell you that that is about how many black supremacists their are in the country too, despite their being only about 39 million blacks in this country (So your about five times more likely to find a black supremacist amongst blacks then you are to find a white supremacist among whites, but both are less then a percent of the population i. e. astronomically low odds).
So you want to stop that, its real simple, don't use race as a weapon, don't blame every interaction that goes poorly on racism, don't use race to grift (as Al Sharpton, Jessi Jackson, and many others do), take responsibility for your actions and be the best person you can be (so the other side has no ammunition to use against you to justify their racism) and it will be done with.10 Reply

You are posting in the middle of racism central. And you are tired of racism?
That's hilarious!!!02 Reply- +1 y
I don't think people understand what I'm trying to say... what I mean by my post is, im tired of all the drama.. I just don't want any of us to have to go through it... its too much to see that everyone seems to be against one another lately. Im tired of all the hate. The hate and anger that seems to be in the world is overwhelming for me.. I just can't understand why anyone can dislike someone bc of what skin color they were born with. Everything is, black people this, white people that. Its stupid to me... as someone who works with the general public for a living, let me tell you, every damn race is dumb in one way or another.
- +1 y
Hey, I don't understand it either. I just know that racist drivel is posted here every single day. There isn't an open platform or social network where I don't run into insane crazed racist freakshows who claim they are members of the Master Race.
What good does it do to complain? I simply rebut and try to live my life.

I think acknowledgement matters. Racism does exist , it’s subtle and it’s unconscious. The fact we don’t acknowledge it and fully understand it on all levels is the reason we have unconscious behaviors of law enforcement shooting unarmed black folks. It’s not right. It’s completely unfair.
irs the matter of making wrongs into rights. By not giving it Acknowledgement is much luck what happens after the civil war. Particularly after president grant had left office, reconstruction which allowed union soldiers in the south in part to protect African American rights were withdrawn and with this the rights of many African Americans who for another 100+ years after end of slavery finally got the acknowledgement that they are equal in every sense of the word according to law. But still today, we still have a society who cannot comprehend the dynamics at play.
Racism shouldn’t be ignored. It should be looked at in the eye and gutted for every line of bullshit it represents.00 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)+1 ySo long as it exists and is as wide-spread as it is, it's not going to stop being talked about. We are supposed to grow as people, but we don't. Technology advances, but we don't. We're still having the same arguments and disputes that people were having a thousand years ago. Nothing has changed but the times.
And don't you worry. Asians have been getting really bad, too. Hate crimes against Asians have spiked dramatically since March. Though Asians have always had to deal with racism, from being blown up in holes to make the American railroads, to internment camps in the 1940s, to hate crimes and prejudice after the Vietnam war. Stereotypes about small dicks and bad driving. Asians get just as much racism as anyone else.02 Reply- +1 y
See, im an idiot.. I didn't even think about my Asian comment before u mentioned racism. since March. You're totally right, i bet there has been racism towards them bc of Covid.. eww , people are so gross as a whole.. I guess I should have said, it must be nice to be a smart. phone lol.. as u said, technology is growing n advancing but not humans lol. I think I'm gonna take a break from technology other than tv lol.. no news, no social networking (although gag is my only social network that I allow myself to be on). I still have a very idealistic way of thinking n I prefer to stay in my bubble and not think or hear about racism or politics.
Opinion Owner+1 yI get that. We all need to take a break every now and then for our own sanity. Rest and recharge.

+1 yI got tired of hearing about it 40 years ago. Not that racism doesn't exist, because it definitely does. It's existed throughout human history and will continue to exist. But after a while, the constant cry of racism becomes the boy who cried wolf. People just quit listening.
People want a color blind society. How can you have a color blind society that constantly brings up color? That's contradictory and counter productive.10 Reply - 6.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
+1 yI agree, I'm going to make effort to steer out of that to more positive domains.
But... we have the party in power whose base is controlled, in part, by cries of "racism". So... you will have to turn off your news feed, because they cannot stop and will only get louder.00 Reply 11.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Don't read it then dumbass.
You want to talk about shitty makeup and how shallow a skank you are instead, then learn how to use the question filters to get only those questions.
This is why you have few friends. You make drama out of nothing to say nothing even relevant.00 Reply
+1 yRacist, Nazi, ist and phobe. They mean nothing anymore because they are used to silence discussions the person is too weak to hold their ground on.
Its sad really. These terms should have weight, because they discribe some of the worst humanity has to offer.
But now they mean nothing and anyone with sense should let them roll off your back as if someone called you a doo doo head.20 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI don't mind calling racism, racism, when it's racism. But it's just wielded like a stupid way to win an argument. The Dems said the wall is racist. What? It's an object.
The Dems said that the MAGA slogan was racist? No, it's a slogan, and it's the same slogan that Clinton used. And why would you call banning flights from China, racist?
The word really needs to be saved for such time when it actually applies. Don't just use it to attempt to win an argument.10 Reply1.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Hearing about racism when it's justified, sure. But nowadays everything is labeled racist, you can't talk about someone without people saying you were racist in some way, and since the US are now clearly into BLM hands, you'll have even more people crying about an imaginary racism.
20 ReplyAbsolutely. I think we need to delegitimize cancel culture, critical race theory, identity politics, and white supremacy. Martin Luther Kings vision of a world where people are judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character is the only sane way to move forward.

+1 yIf you're tired of hearing about it, imagine how the people who are subject to it every day feel. Though I'll apologize in advance for you having to be troubled by hearing about the racism they are routinely subject to.
03 Reply- +1 y
I did. The point is to keep driving until as many people as possible deal with others more appropriately, not to become so tired of hearing about it that we just tune it out entirely regardless of who is subject to it.
- +1 y
I know what u mean but to constantly see, hear, an experience so much unnecessary hatred is exhausting and for someone who is sensitive like myself, it really does make me sad. I want us all to exist n live happily amongst one another... after all , most of us just want the same thing- happiness.
Anonymous(18-24)+1 yI totally agree with you. The problem is , people profit of divide. The media gets clickbait stories that drive up their engagement for ad revenue. People get book deals and paid "talks " . So the fixation on race is too profitable to go any anytime soon.

+1 yClaims of racism and sexism pay; only white men don't receive Affirmative Action in universities and the workplace, so it's all about the money.
16 Reply- +1 y
We wouldn't have a problem if coloreds and women weren't so lazy and dishonest?
- +1 y
Affirmative Action for all but white men ensures that you get lower standards based on your race a d sex; it's not my fault that you're a hypocrite.
- +1 y
How am I a hypocrite? Affirmative action was created bc of racism... u seem to be one of those people who sit in your mothers basement n blame the world for your problems... you have a tonnpf hate in your heart and for that, im sorry for you. If you feel like women and colored are keeping you down then im sorry I was born a woman and colored.. but inhave nothing to do with your issues. I am a tax paying citizen who works damn hard and takes care of myself.. no one hands me a damn thing.. have a good night, good bless, and good luck in your angry life.

Fake racism masking lower race and sex IQ averages.
I completely agree on that. It's as Morgan freeman said in an interview once. It wiil stop when we stop talking about it. but too bad that is wishfull thinking.
10 ReplyYes I am with you completely on this one. The nonstop race baiting by the racist leftists who claim to be progressive is repugnant and gives me a stomach ache as well.

Opinion Owner+1 yThe democrats are fanning the flames of division. They are race baiting and going out of their way to make absolutely everything about race. Then they attack people on the right who aren't racist but despise being called racists. If you're looking for someone to blame then look to your new president, vp and nancy pelosi.

Im not privileged... I have experienced it too.. actually a few times... im hurts to the core bc I've experienced it in my past work place-2 separate jobs. I know we have tintalk about it inorder for anything to change.. let me. give u an example of what I mean.. so, I was reading an article online about a man going on a shooting spree in Chicago where im from. You are able to read comments on the article.. like an idiot, I sometimes read the comments (I won't any longer bc its toxic for me n its starting to actually make me sad). well, first thing the commenters say in the comment section is, "I bet the killer was a n$^#^&! r... its always minorities who commit crimes" ... first, im a minority so ofcourse im gonna take it personal.. second, why is race ALWAYS THE FIRST THING EVERYONE BRINGS UP THESE DAYS? thats what I mean by its too much. It's unnecessary hate.. there is too much hate in this world n it makes me hurt bc I don't want my child to ever have to encounter any of this.. but dialogue has to happen in order to stop it so that our children and grandchildren doesn't have to experience it.. in the meanwhile its still awful to me... sorry I wasn't trying to come off as a privileged asshole... just someone who genuinely wants everyone to be able to live amongst one another without hatred in their hearts bc of skin color.
