@Smashingdoozy Violation of section 230 which requires that they define themselves as either a platform (common carrier) that has not right to censor opinions but also cannot be held accountable for opinions expressed using their services (which is what they claim to be in order not to be sued for hosting literal terrorist groups and known supremacist groups) OR to define themselves as publishers which allows them to curate content and censor who ever they want but are liable for the content on their site. They have been violating this law for years but no one does anything about it because suing is expensive and they largely benefit the democrat party (as they openly admit to censoring conservative view points) who would never go after them as its a very powerful political tool to have their opponents silenced and for social media to cover them when they screw up (like how they shut down all mention of the Hunter Biden laptop before the election and discussion of the possibility of the election being rigged but openly pushed the claims that the 2016 eleciton was rigged by trump and pushed every supposed scandal of his).

Instead of banning speech, even if it's hate speech, we should revamp our public education system then. Let people speak hate. It shouldn't influence the public.

So you want to ban speech that might incite people towards violence? Like burning stores, rioting, and tearing down statues? Somebody said something for those people to do those things. Maybe BLM said something? But of course, those actions of violence were done in the name of justice. It sounds like people want to ban speech that opposes their political point of view. And if you don't agree with it then you are a racist.
Remember that speech that is likely to incite violence or does incite violence is not protected by the First Amendment.
