Furthermore, nearest I can tell, the word, "n**" is just a kind of bastardization of the name, Niger, which is an African nation. I'm guessing that's where a lot of the slaves came from (most being sold to us by BLACK slave traders!! People need to remember that next time reparations are asked for!!) and, when certain people over here would refer to them as Nigerian, it got shortened to, "Niger" and some uneducated people probably saw the word and pronounced it, "n**" and that's how it stuck!
