I have a tough time believing that the fiance intentionally killed her. The situation looks suspicious as all hell, but at worst, I think it was an accident. Those two were way too codependent, but they did genuinely "love" each other, even if "need" might be a better word for it.

I just didn't get a predator vibe from him and his behavior after the incident doesn't strike me like someone who has a plan to cover their tracks and get away with it. I got more of a "these two people are nervous wrecks and feed into each other's psychosis" type of vibe. I could easily see those two just losing control around each other. Gabby clearly had aggression problems and a tendency towards physical violence. Fiance clearly doesn't handle confrontation very well and would do things that provoked Gabby. Apparently there was a 9-1-1 call where an eye witness says Fiance was punching Gabby, but again; I don't know that I believe that. Gabby wasn't exactly covered bruises (he could have been emotionally abusive though).

I was in an abusive relationship with a very predatory female and I saw what an abusive and manipulative man looks like in a former friend of mine. To me, this situation looks more like an abusive female and subordinate male, who snaps and hurts the female. I'm seeing habitual line-steppers. I'm seeing a female-dominant relationship where the woman makes all the money (and she very clearly knows it). I'm seeing a man that clearly doesn't know how to react under pressure. He's not someone who is very physically imposing.

If the guy intended to murder Gabby... he hasn't given things very much thought.
