I belive that's that was said by a company in india who took money from over 1 million people then the owners ran away outside India so now they are rich and living a life full of luxury and thr one who beiieved them have lost all their investment and some have committed suicide

Wealthy peoples riches are denominated in currency. However, the wealth is actually in tangible assets or assets that produce streams of income.

Currency is not wealth. Ask anyone who has lived through hyper-inflation.

No one is generous enough to give people wealth. Crypto was created to preserve the creators' wealth. They need people to believe in the system for it to be valuable. That being said, crypto is mainstream now, and can be an investment, but I wouldn't make it my main investment.

Some of you guys make me laugh.

I got into it in 2020. I bought some bitcoin at 8000 and ethereum at about 350. Bitcoin is now 59000, and ethereum 3700.

Not saying it's completely worthless. It's a matter of giving it a fair valuation that makes it a gamble. Stocks can be valued via cash flows and the balance sheet. Crypto has nothing but faith. I agree it's extreme to say it's worthless, but it shouldn't be your only investment. You need asset diversification.

No, BitCoin is supposed to be limited , so only a few can be rich, but they won't because the Gov't will make it illegal. No different if you had $10,000,000 in cash and gov't made that illegal to use.
