Why not change our economy based off of a one household income then a 2 household income?

Ana Kasparian makes a good point in debating Ben Shapiro (huge Ben Shapiro fan but I think she makes a good point here). She says that out of necessity 64 thousand women left the labor market due to lack of free child care,

now I agree with her that it’s shouldn’t be a necessity for women to give up there jobs to take care of children but why not base our economy based off of a 1 income family be it the man stays at home or the women the genitals of the person working doesn’t matter, Why doesn’t the person with the better income stay at home rather then the women stays at home and the man works both parents go to work, the child’s need come first and they need someone at home 24/7 when there not in school if the man if making more the women quits her job and of the women is making more the man quits his job the better income wins it’s free child care after all

I agree with you. so many jobs can and will be automated away with nothing to replace them or desk jobs which can be done at home.

I'm already doing that, girlfriend works and I'm home dad.

I think the issue is how to transition the jobs so enough income to pay the high costs. we've destroyed our economy with all the wars... one wage earner has a hard time paying for everything. that to me is the root cause of the massive thefts via inflation following Vietnam and Iraq/Afghan wars, and war on covid and new war on global warming.

Right I get Vietnam in the golf war because stopping communism where it rises its ugly head is important and call Wei did ask us to help, also we can't allow someone to attack us wothout retaliation but these random ass wars I don't make any sense, climate change who cares also the war on drugs and war on property was a massive waste of money

When my wife and I got married we decided in advance that if we had kids we would live on one income. We based our life on this and did not buy a house we could barely afford and drove around in old crs and basically lived within our means. My salary at the time was not great either.
Kids todat have ot have the beat of everything and do not mind being buried in debt and sticking their kids in daycare so they can afford to buy junk they really do not need so people will think they are cool/

right i don't need much just my luxury is weed and the occasional bottle, i can grow weed my self which i can rely on until i harvest more i always keep a couple of mothers around to clone off of and do my own hybridizing i try to get a 5 new plants a year which is 50$ (10 a piece) beyond that i can live on very little unfortunately women don't like this idea unless there 250+ pounds
