The media itself isn’t an individual. So to all those who are about to bring up Trump, calling out the media as a whole isn’t unpresidential. The media has criticized every president in history and it seems like that’s just how the relationship between the media and the president is and always will be. It is, however, convening when the media starts backing the president and defending them regardless of party affiliation. They’re meant to be critical of each other. At least in my opinion.

We all know that President Biden isn’t in full command of his faculties anymore. Having him face real scrutiny is more or less elder abuse at this point. Of course, politicians always try to evade blame for inflation. Creating money and putting it into the economy (mostly via banks and BlackRock, and a tiny minority to individuals) while constraining production (via lockdowns and subsequent supply chain disruptions) was GUARANTEED to cause inflation. Every time this happens, politicians will do all they can to evade blame. First, inflation is in your imagination. Next, it is “transitory.” Then it is a “good thing.” After that it’s the fault of “greedy companies” (this is where we are now). Then we need punitive taxation, government handouts, and more cash transfers to individuals. Then we’ll need rent and price controls (which make the shortages worse). The only cure is draconian interest rate increases.
