I feel bad for people like that because when they get into the real world or around unscrupulous people, they are easy marks for being taken advantage of. I think that does a disservice to your children because the world isn't a nice place at all so why shelter them from everything? I think some people like that can be sweet but I probably wouldn't be super close with them as we don't have much in common and they can get annoying because they are unrealistic and overly "Pollyanna" at times.

Ugh it's just annoying because a shelter life promotes an ignorant and naive life, I think it's your job to educate youself in what is happening in the world, lucky for me my parents didn't shelter me at all so things rarely shock or offend me but girls that go OMG that guy is gay?! Irritates me this world is filled with many types of people and I think it's important to be comfortable around them all, educate yourself is all I'm trying to say :)
that sounds like that can bet really tiring. everyone likes someone with a slightly naughty side
If she's too close to prudish, then that's a turn off for me (if I was attracted to her to begin with). My close friends are somewhat sheltered and I just shake my head sometimes at what my 21 year old friend is sheltered away from. But yeah, sheltered or oblivious girls sometimes tend to be a little uptight. If you aren't that, then you're good IMO.
As a friend it is funny and cute. In a relationship the cute/funny wears off and it gets annoying.

It really bothers me...I feel the parents that shelter their kids TOO much are setting their kids up for disaster when they get out into the "real world". :/
