Yes. The US has the most lenient abortion policies in the developed world, by far (depending on the state). Some of them, like Virginia and Tennessee would be surprising to anyone who doesn't know what bizarre and extreme lengths the US government bends over for to protect abortion, up to and including deliberately misinterpreting its own constitution to justify it, and actively punishing people for whistleblowing or otherwise exposing exploitation.
