Fewer wild spaces. Everything is commercialized. There is less freedom and independence with almost no ability to play, explore, adventure, or learn life lessons on their own with friends. Almost every minute of their lives is scheduled and monitored. There are almost no opportunities for kids to work and learn about money and responsibility. Society is becoming more and more authoritarian. Instead of being good guy public servants, police are hostile, paranoid and dangerous. Everyone is tracked and traced 24/7 and every single thing is stored electronically. Minor infractions go on kids' permanent records.
Raising kids has become insanely expensive and there are fewer job opportunities for young adults.
Kid's health has been harmed by the vaccine schedules, fast (non) food, and chemicals in food and the environment.
High spirited kids are increasingly diagnosed with some form of pathology and put on mind numbing drugs. It's virtually illegal for boys to rough house.
Electronic devices and social media have disincentivized kids from engaging in physical activity and face to face interaction.
Instead of being treated like boys and girls, kids are sexualized by schools at a very young age, taught about homosexuality, and encouraged to question their gender identities. Healthy masculinity isn't being taught and masculinity, itself, is treated as toxic.
The thing is, though, the only way to turn things around and make the world a better place is for good people to raise strong children with good values. The only way to stop the globalists' social engineering program to turn all humans in to the equivalent of factor farm animals is to resist. We, ourselves, must refuse to comply. And one form of resistance is to raise new generations of bright, informed, free thinking, moral, ethical, courageous, strong men and women.
Previous generations didn't just give up and neither should we.10 Reply

I have no right to tell anybody that they can have children or they can't have children but I try to do.
Is I want them to think about it our government our world is changing so fast we are heading down some past it we are so uncertain we could be gone tomorrow
And I try to explain that if you have children right now in this day and time not knowing what our future holds I could not personally bring in a kid into this world it happened to take care of anything that might happen and take care of my child at the same time if something was to happen to me oh my God I was fucking freak the last thing I want to do is put a child out of this planet and not be able to take care of it all the way through its whole life I just cannot ever see myself having a child and doing that and I would not lead to try to somebody else that is my child and if I can't take care of it I don't want one on here on the planet there's tension in every country right now Putin to go AWOL our Democratic party and Republican party they're also greedy and they all have sold us out we don't know if we are coming and going no gas no food no jobs understand where we are all headed you cannot bring a child into this world and rightfully take care of it if something happens to you what happened to the child that's what I tried to project to these people if something happens to that kid who's going to take care of it that you trust nobody not with the child21 Reply

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yNever through history has the world and life been more safe and comfortable than now. You think life was easy back when we lived in caves and hunted mammoths? Life has always been tough. War, crusades, plagues, death from childbirth, infant and child death, rape, torture (people back in the day really had a fetish for this), poverty, natural disasters, burning of so called witches, no rest-hard work on the farms just to have some bread and porridge on the table for the family throughout the year, famines, holocaust, genocides, no rights if you were female, poor or a minority. I can go on and on. Again, never in history of mankind has life ever been this comfortable and safe for us humans but you’re here whining. Your ancestors went through hell (and had a whole bunch of luck) to stay alive and also have and keep their kids alive in hopes for a better future for their decendants but they did it, thousands and thousands of years, and you’re here as a result, now you want to end it all because the world is ”horrible” and you don’t want to bring kids into ”this world” - all while living in one of the best times ever to have kids. What a bunch of pathetic bullshit. Making a mockery out of your ancestors. Get yourself together ffs.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yBecause they are selfish and ignorant. If it wasn't for 1 man I would never have kids. He taught me something that is priceless. I'd mention it but it took me 5 years of studying to even understand it. Now I'm just beginning to apply it.
But that is why... I have thought this all my life. The reason most don't think how we do is because they are selfish and ignorant. They rarely think. And I am the biggest optimist on the planet, so me and you are nothing alike but we do agree on this. But if everyone knew what that man taught me and they applied it... I would disagree with you. Whoever reads this, don't wonder what it is because you couldn't guess it, even if you had a million tries. I assure you that.10 ReplyI was asking myself that for a long time... and the conclusion I arrived at is that it's usually better to be alive than not to be. And also, the world is messed up because of people whose goal is to make us have less children. So having children it the one thing we can do to offset it. More good people in the world could turn it around. That's of course only for those who actually WANT to have children and will put in the immense amount of time and effort into raising them properly rather than let the government do it for them.
01 ReplyI think it's disingenuous to point fingers at other people and say "see? They are the problem!". I think if it like this. We all want the same thing, we just have different strategies to how we can accomplish it. You can blame leftists all you want, but they are not responsible for school shootings or kidnapping. I'm not even a leftist, and I think this is ridiculous.
If you want the world to be a better place, maybe rather than complain about human issues, why don't you do something about it? Read more books, become an activist, talk to people. There's so much you can do if you really wanted to make a difference. Thinking that all humans should do and stop having kids will not do anyone any justice. Last time I checked, 1% of the population is responsible for over 60% of violent crime, so that means the rest of everyday people should just die? Ma'am, that doesn't make any sense.10 Reply26.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I sort of felt this way when I had my own kids. They had a good upbringing and seem to have had good lives. They are all doing well on their own and I imagine the three of them are glad we decided to have them.
I know things look really bad and the fact things got so bad so fast just makes it seem much worse. I really believe that Americas best days are still ahead of us. Things will improve.10 Reply

The hard part will just be letting go of the old system.10 ReplyBecause if we don't, the world will only be filled with the people who do all those things. If we don't have children, and raise them the best way we know how, then our beliefs and viewpoints will be lost to time.
20 Reply1.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. This sort of reasoning becomes prevalent toward the end of a culture or civilization and the West is no exception. I think difficult times presents the opportunity for children to become great people who raise strong families, help their communities survive, or even lay the groundwork for what evolves after the decline. It is not fair for them, but it is not without possible upside. Without children, all that is certain is extinction.

Anonymous(18-24)+1 yBecause if you have children and bring them up properly to love and care for others then you are doing your bit to make the world a better place for all. If all of the people who cared didn't have children then it would only be the ones who make it horrible in the world having them and that mindset would become the norm.

it seems from here; given the options of parenting a menace or subjecting a vulnerable one to a lifetime of great terror, it only seems loving to consider restraint. a sad reality, is that those in position to need to have such consideration, may in reality lack kindly perspective, for being part of the problem due to be considered.

Valor is sometimes born of necessity, though, and evil will meet up with good. And even to die or be tortured as result in acting out of true kind compassion, is more bearable than to cower in physical health as result of selfish yielding to being party to hating the innocent. better ways can be found, when sought out.

@flautistnaturist I have no issue with that position in theory. My issue was with her trying to make decisions for the rest of us when she's not even of child-bearing age. She'll be gone in a few years anyway. (No offense, Sage.) It's not her problem.

@Jamie05rhs I am not saying people should not have children - I have one myself so I have some experience in what it means to raise a child. Have all the kids you want then maybe my voice will come to you one day and you'll remember what you said. And you don't have to say I am old and won't be around much longer. That is cruel! Sh*t, just cause you are young doesn't mean you can't die. Gee's, I wish you were more intelligent and research, watch the news to get updates, etc. But you're not very intelligent I am sorry to say. Maybe one day you will see what's going on in the world once you take off your rose colored glasses you see through.

@sage2021 I'm fully aware of how terrible the world is.
And how is what I said cruel? It's the truth, isn't it? Plus, you already had a child. So it's not like I'm picking on you for being infertile, because you're not.
Sorry if I caused any offense. I'm just sick and tired of older people talking down to younger people.
Also, why is the world a terrible place? Is your generation not responsible? You're the ones who have been in charge all these years. You're the ones who laid the groundwork for everything that is going on today. - +1 y
P. S. I'm not personally gung-ho and officially set on having kids. I actually agree with a lot of what you said. I'm just sticking up for the others in my cohort who may very much want to have children. You're crushing their dreams.

You need professional mental health buddy! Don't ever have kids either. - +1 y
children grow up happier with suffering in their lives. you are probably proof of this. i bet you had no suffering. now you're a spoiled brat so weak you don't want to have kids.
