Most of the news that I've seen does specify that it is a leaked source, and that it hasn't, or hadn't, been confirmed at that time.

Even the news about Biden's response (if we're talking left biased) has specified that he's said, "If this is true." I've recently been seeing news that specifies that it's been confirmed, although personally, I'm waiting for an official announcement.

I don't really care, I think there is no inherit value in secrecy how 5+ hand picked federal employees decide cases of law. If it really is justice it should be transparent.

The illusion that theses people are somehow not ideologues choosing to ignore long standing constitutional principles is damaging to a republic.

How do you know a leftist leaked it? There are arguments to why both sides may have released it. The left might have done it to show how most new justices are hypocrites, and how it's no longer an impartial appellate court. The right might have done it as a power move to lock in the votes as they stand, so the justices can't change their minds in writing out the majority opinion/concurring opinion.
