Yes, He is the secretary for Homeland Security and the new dept. of disinformation is part of that. Nina Jankowitz was made head of the department. She posted a video on TikTok where she sings her own words to a Mary Poppins song. Mayorkas was not aware of the video. This shows how incompetent they are. They could not figure out how to do a background check on somebody.

Literally all of the cabinet members are utter garbage. They're a product of corruption; people who were put there as political favors without relevant backgrounds or anything meaningful to contribute. One of my biggest criticisms of Trump was the people he appointed and surrounded himself with, but at least a couple of them actually did a good job and the ones who underperformed got fired or forced to resign.

At the beginning of his term Trump appointed some people outside of Washington. I think he wanted to try something new. His picks got better. I think Mike Pompeo did a good job as did Mark Meadows and Steve Mnuchin. When Trump is re-elected I think his hires will be a lot better.

The DEpt of Energy was founded during the Carter admin. It was originally set up to manage nuclear energy but after the energy crisis of the 70s it also dealt with the fossil fuel industries and later Obama included renewable energy sources like solar and wind power to be part of it.

A couple of weeks ago he was asked by a reporter an off the cuff question about the difficulties faced by America over the last year. With no preparation and no teleprompter he rattled off a half dozen cures to the Biden administration. They would probably all work too because the have worked before.
