Genuinely what's the problem with a show like She-Hulk? Genuinely what's the problem with a gay in a marvel movie? Why is this considered propaganda?

Genuinely curious for these things. I enjoy Marvel movies for the most part. I enjoy seeing kick ass women on screen. I literally can't stop thinking about love with someone other than a woman that looks like She Hulk now. A character who's supposed to represent peak woman strength and natural abilities. The show looks exciting as heck right now. America Chavez was just introduced in the MCU's Multiverse Of Madness with a tiny little pride pin that I apparently missed on my viewing on her jacket and two mother's who give eachother a flower instead of kissing. These things are coming up from people as propaganda and culture warring all over the place it seems. I'm trying to see the point of the disliking here. If your kid goes to school there's gonna be gays, probably making out in hallways and elsewhere. If you go to a big public setting gays are around there too. They are in life for any human walking around. I agree the powerful women movement is a bit too strong in the films these days but I'm good with it, I love stronger women rather than the dainty damsels of old. How does adding them to Marvel do anything wrong or out of place. Movies are supposed to reflect our own world for us so we can see in a new light. It just seems weird the feedback I've seen on multiple platforms. I don't know where the stir comes from and I've noticed it mostly comes from people who don't care to actually watch the movies in the first place.

What’s the problem? Forced diversity and tokenism. Industry standards are increasingly pushing to always have people of diverse racial backgrounds and sexualities in movies or shows. The Academy Awards literally revised their requirements to even be eligible for nomination for an award. If your show or movie is required to have so many Black actors in it, or gay roles, or transgendered roles, writers are then forced to write stories that will meet those standards.

This is why so many shows and movies are such shit now. They aren’t especially creative and are being written with an eye that prioritizes promoting diversity and inclusivity, rather than just—gasp—actually entertaining us? And they wonder why their ratings are such shit and no one wants to watch their crap.

Other than a few CW shows I don't really see the big properties doing all that. Well Starwars kind of did too. I don't know I see more projects getting done that do it right as of late at least. But I get the worry, just not the refusal to watch the content before they judge it.

1) Because it's pandering and usually shoehorned in just to keep promoting the MESSAGE
2) Gay people make up about 2% of the population. But are in EVERY piece of major media.

Because they're definitely a large amount of people highly doubt 2 percent is accurate. Go to any school, mall public place and ask 50 people who look straight and I'd bet there's half of them gay. There's enough hate on them and amount of them to warrant more positive advertisement. But I totally hate how it typically gets handled too in film and media. It is shoehorned in 80 percent of the time but Marvel has definitely been keeping more balanced with that. And for me Marvel has been the best and most popular example of how popular media should handle these social views. Many Marvel characters were made to represent cultures all over, it wouldn't be natural for Marvel to exclude the gays. Another example I'll mention is in Everything Everywhere All at Once. Very upfront with the gay stuff but it has Merritt to the entire point of the plot. It is very well established in meaning. Supergirl series had the worst pandering in my opinion. Batwoman too. Where the focus becomes gays and women and ignores a proper balance.
