Covid mortality rate was between 0.1% and 3% depending on the country. Monkey Pox is probably 3x more lethal since it's had numbers like 10%. But no, I don't think it will be the same as covid for 2 reasons: #1 We have documented proof that Covid was invented in the lab. We know for a fact that Moderna patented unique parts of it long before the outbreak. A scientists said the odds of it being natural were 1 in 3 trillon or so. So governments had lots of time to plan how they would deal with a manufactured pandemic. I think it was just launched by China before the other conspiring governments were 100% expecting it. #2 I've seen articles that said Monkey Pox affected a huge percentage of homosexuals. Governments aren't going to rush to offend that group just like governments refused to quarantine people when HIV/AIDs first appeared even tho it was like 99% homosexuals. Instead they did a huge PR campaign to convince people it was almost impossible to catch despite it being spread airborne in saliva in some high profile cases.

It would be strange if Monkey Pox became a big problem naturally now when it's been naturally floating around for at least 70 years. But you never know what kind of test tubes people will be emptying into your local buffet restaurant food tubs or coffee tanks next. During Covid there were instances where contact tracers said cases suddenly appeared in rural communities with zero evidence of anyone transmitting it to the people who got it. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the spread was helped along by couriers like something straight out of sci-fi horror movies.

Yes... funny thing is now they're saying that even vaccinated people should be tested before being allowed to fly on airplanes. So now the experts agree with the idea that vaccinated people are "super spreaders" which was said by conspiracy theorists on day one. i mean everyone is a "super spreader". vaccination doesn't make people less infectious. it just makes them less likely to experience a terrible outcome but that chance is quite low to begin with, if you're not 70+ or with serious health issues.

i was in hospital recently for a surgery and i had a smalltalk with a nurse there. i was one of the very few peopole she ever met, that didn't get any of the covid jabs and got covid while unvaccinated. she said that most people who get the vaccine had very bad health outcomes. like the majority of people with the omicron variant who end up in ER fighting for their life got like 3 vaccines. and she has experience with lots of people who have bad diseases so they can't get vaccinated and those don't seem to have many issues with the omicron variant. plus even pfizer now officially states that the immunity you get after being exposed to the disease is more robust than any of the vaccines... so yeah. suck it society, media and politics. i was right XD

well i know how. some of the richest people on the planet have the strings in the hands to 1: Define national and international health situations, 2: Heavily global national policies by directly lobbying with regional politicians, 3: have the funds to pay the media to frame things a certain way and on to of all that 4: own large parts of the institutions (pfizer/biontech) that sell the solution.

I followed mask guidelines and social distancing and I didn’t get covid. My view is biased because I lost two people to covid, but overall, I don’t think wearing a mask and keeping six feet apart is tyranny or inconvenient.

i'm not as deepo in this topic as i was with covid but with covid, you couldn't even trust the cdc, who or fda anymore. they were all spreading bulshit big in the media and then 3 days after correcting themself which nobody bothered to bring any media publicity to.

with monkey pox, as far as i know it can only be transmitted basically like HIV can. and really infection from human to human seems quite rare overall. yet they are already fear mongering like crazy. i heardeverything from 1 in 10 to 3 in 100 deathrates.

I saw some information on WHO’s website that the record number of spreads from person to person was 9. So like one person got it from an animal, spread to another person, 9 times. There was an outbreak in the United States in 2003 where 70 people were infected, those cases coming from prairie dogs or something that were shipped from Ghana. The WHO’s information says it to not be severe by contagiousness, as shown with a 9 person link as the record. You need to basically either sleep in the same bedsheets as them or have such close contact with a person for a long amount of time for droplet transfer stuff (bodily fluids too but gross). I am not worried at all, only people buying prairie dogs should be.
