I hated him at first, then I realized that no matter what stance he took, no matter what action, the media said he was evil and wrong. didn't add up, every politician does something you like.

For example. A drone flies into iranian airspace, gets caught and leaves. Media calls him a coward, says he made america look weak.
He drone strikes an iranian general, media screams in terror saying he's going to start a war with iran.
Make a fucking choice, do you want iran to be intimidated or not?
When covid started, he was literally the only world leader who did anything. Mean while democrats were laughing, saying covid was no big deal, go to china town and hug eachother they said. 3 months later they were saying he was was botching the handling of covid, and lie that they were taking it seriously from the beginning. They make a big deal about 200k deaths in the US under Trump. Triple that number dies under Biden and nobody says shit.
Trump lawfully won the 2016 election, enter a 2 year investigation into its validity showing that yes it was infact legitimate and that it stemmed from a bullshit report by a Clinton staffer.

Trump calls foul on the 2020 election, nobody does a goddamn thing. Ignored. Yeah thats not fishy at all.

So fuck the media. I like the guy. I love the chaos and derangement that is so visible among his detractors.

Pretty lukewarm, though far better than any other president in my lifetime. Hopefully someone else will overtake him.

He was very strong on foreign policy and the economy, lackluster in regards to the military (about what I'd expect from someone who is supportive but lacks knowledge or experience, which is pretty much going to be the case most of the time), numerous personality flaws, but his worst flaw by far is how he continuously falls for and endorses people who flatter him, and so far he still hasn't learned that lesson even as it costs him. I'm not really convinced that his religious-conservative values were entirely authentic and not just theater, yet he's unquestionably the most pro-life president we've had in decades.

He may have done good things while president, but his public appearances overshadowed everything and ended up dividing the country.

I don’t agree with everything he did as president, but he did do some things that was actually good for the country. (I am mentally drained from work and can’t remember examples, but I have had this conversation before). Please note…I am NOT a Trump fan. Nor a Biden fan.

Not much! The current hearings on the news about the insurrection we had that nearly cost us our democracy, says all. He needs to serve time in jail for doing what he did.
After the 4 year nightmare we had, it’s a relief not to have to hear about his tweets. He is a disgrace.

I was never a big fan. I never watched the Apprentice and always thought he was a blowhard. I really had doubts about his presidency but I voted for him anyway because at least he supported some of the stuff I had been talking about for the last 20 yeas and Hillery for president was too frightening.
However , he really got a lot done in 4 years expecially if you consider he had a hostile press that slammed him at every turn. He was impeached twice for basically a hoax and he had to deal with a pandemic. He secured the southern border, fixed the VA, rebuilt the military, got new trade agreements with China and Mexico, created a new branch of the military, got NATO deadbeats to pay their fair share, got the US out of the Paris Climate boondoggle, made America energy independent, got multiple covid vaccines produced, I could go on but you get the idea.
History will remember him as being one of the best presidents on modern times. I hope we see him again in 2024.

Definitely better than Biden, but looking back now, he had very few positive accomplishments. His economic policies were the best we've had since Little Bush, and I like that he was the only major world leader who wasn't afraid of China.
But in terms of other foreign policy and social issues, he was shit, and was very hypocritical and contradictory in many ways.
A true "America First" guy, doesn't sell arms to Saudi Arabia. And within one day he reimposed the Cuban embargo, which Barack Obama spent years undoing.

He was also an asshole and a bully, and very stupid and narccistsic, though I did appreciate his humor and lack of political correctness. But he did have many qualities of a dictator, I cannot deny this, and it was HIM who implemented the illegal Covid test for Americans and transit passengers. Never have I heard of a country requirement medical tests/vaccines, for people who are only transiting and not leaving the airport.

He thought he could run the country like a business and then learned our government is just as corrupted as any other country. He did a lot of good but a lot of bad.
