+1 yI wouldn't consider myself a feminist but I value women and I don't see a problem with equal rights, because I honestly don't care or want to be a superior gender, I believe it's stupid cause both genders need the opposite gender to thrive, now don't get me wrong when it comes to relationships I do believe the man should be the head of the relationship and the woman should be the neck, the woman guides the man and the man takes the ropes.
07 Reply- +1 y
Not guides, the proper word I was looking for was support, that's the perfect word for it actually
Asker+1 yNah i think relationships need to have equal participation and there's no place for hierarchy in a relationship
- +1 y
Then I guess we can disagree on that
- +1 y
There is only hierarchy in relationships... women want to look up to the men they are with. How do you look up to a man who is your "equal"?
Asker+1 yWomen literally dont wanna look upto to a man , who is teaching you all this bullshit
- +1 y
Ohh uhh reality? Heard of it?
Asker+1 yYeah living it , unlike you who is simply making shit up for the sake of his own benefit

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI believe in and support fair and equal treatment for both sexes. I think society (and the law) should care equally about the needs and issues of both males and females. Therefore, I could never support modern feminism, and anyone who does is either sexist or a fool, or both.

+1 yYes. Often they are called simps and cucks and betas. Same thing as a male feminist. Any man that lets women walk all over him basically. Usually they are terrible immoral people so personally i wouldn't associate with someone like that.

Opinion Owner+1 y@Asker I'm just curious, what do you think of the Men's Rights Movement?
Asker+1 y@opinion owner. I absolutely concur with most of their goals
Opinion Owner+1 yGood for you, that makes you one rare feminist. But the reality is that most feminist despise the Men's Rights Movement, and that is indisputably clear. Just Google the term and you'll find literally millions of hits from feminists who consider the movement invalid and call it nothing but a bunch of whiny misogynists. Why? Because there are a shit ton of MRAs who are just that. The goals of the movement are valid but the majority of its members are sexist, toxic and divisive, and their actions show that to be true.
Now, take everything I wrote above and switch the terms "Men's Rights Movement" with "Feminism" and it is all equally true. That is... EXCEPT... that feminism has mainstream acceptance and political credibility that allows it to influence society in ways that MRA does not, and feminism absolutely uses that power to help women, and only women, and often at the expense of men. It certainly is rare to see a feminist taking any perspective that helps men if they perceive it might in any way stand in the way of women's interests, and yet they behave in the same way but vilify MRA, and then can’t understand why men hate them. That incredible dishonesty and hypocrisy is the root cause of the disdain the majority of western people, both men and women, have for feminism today.
Opinion Owner+1 yTake for example the overwhelming response from feminists to the recent Johnny Depp / Amber Heard verdict. I have read hundreds of feminists responses, both casual and in more formal settings (magazine articles, etc.), and the vast of them took the view that it was a terrible loss for victims of domestic violence and that it would discourage victims from coming forward. Only a tiny handful have acknowledged the obvious fact that it was actually a win for victims of domestic violence, but for male victims, and could provide a much needed incentive for the thousands of male victims of abuse. Do most feminists care about that? Nope.
THAT IS MODERN FEMINISM. It's not about equality, as it claims; it's about women's interests and women’s interests only, even at the expense of men's. And here's the thing... feminists will almost always respond with something like "but that's not real feminism... real feminism is about equality". Yeah, not so much. We must judge feminism by its actions, not an outdated and irrelevant dictionary definition. And the actions we see from feminism everyday clearly show it is not what it claims to be. There is no question that it is anti-male.
Feminism has been broken for a long time, and if you truly cannot see why most men (and women) hate the modern feminist movement, you need to get some honesty.
Opinion Owner+1 yIf feminism ever turned over a new leaf and started showing different colors and actually, you would see men wholeheartedly supporting the movement. Feminists complain all the time that they want men to be their allied in the battle against sexism, but they have never done anything of the sort for men. Just the opposite really.
Modern feminism is dishonest, sexist, divisive and toxic, and it has spawned a men's movement that is its mirror image. Things will only continue to get worse between men and women until feminism pulls its head out of its collective ass and becomes an equality movement. Until then, MRAs, MGTOWs and incels will continue to do exactly what they (and feminism) have been doing.
Opinion Owner+1 y*and actually supported gender fairness

Opinion Owner+1 yI support what a lot of feminists claim to support i just refuse to support what they do. Their actions speak louder than their words. Take the feminists that firebombed a pregnancy planning center.. Fuck that.
Asker+1 yI asked about feminism not misandry. Radicalism is not what it stands for, irrespective of what those women say they are mot feminists
Opinion Owner+1 yYou can say that all you like, but until they get rid of that element I will never respect them. Period.
Asker+1 yI mean then you're no different than them, just the way a lot of them blame all men , you're doing the same
Opinion Owner+1 yBut I'm not blaming an entire gender. I love women. I'm blaming a group who only 10% of women identify as.. Apples to oranges comparison. There is literally only one feminist I actually respect. Her name is Christina Hoff Sommers. Look her up sometime.
Asker+1 yIm sorry i can't further explain how feminism is different from misandry. Im feminist i love good women and men and i will certainly look her up
Opinion Owner+1 yIf every feminist were like her, or Cassie Jaye, the creator of the red pill, I would actually support it. But the more I interact with them, the more I'm finding that feminists like them are incredibly rare.
